Almost looks like you could drive the boat to work if you were close enough. 4 hour limit to dock? No problem- that's what lunch breaks are for!
Great way to get to work
Can you imagine?
I interviewed this summer with a place that shared a building with a Kayaking club right on the river. At the edge of the parking lot was a long, supposedly 1/2 public dock that was visible from the building. Only used to tie up a few kayaks. I was seriously toying with "hey if I got this job I COULD drive the boat to work...." Would have been a long haul by water though, cost a lot in gas, but still fun to at least try. A waverunner would have been a serious possibility though.
I can just see you now on your waverunner-- "guy's been riding that thing to work for 25 years"

That's what I'm thinking. I think it might just warm up a bit yet before Xmas...............

OMG! I just looked at my 10 day and not one day below 80 for the high. I had to go turn the air up.
Was going to join Newty for an hour or so on the water today on my lunch break but we were in the upper 30's this morning and 10-20mph winds. He said he was out washing the truck and the cold hose water was warmer than the air! Maybe going to hit 70 today but they bagged on the river full of sailboats down by me and headed to a more protected channel I think.
At least when we're working outside the beer never gets warm.
