WOW... how old are those?
Still holding air?
Sent from my iPhone 5... ya right!
2006. Not that old. It's the only one that was separating. Got 2 of 4 off the trailer. I'll see the other two tomorrow night. I'm hoping they'll be ok, but if not I'll get what I need. Better safe than sorry.
And yes still holding air, but I deflated it before I took it off the trailer. Didn't want it to burst. I drove that home from Kansas last fall. It wasn't that bad then. It really got bad when I took it back from the storage facility. I already ordered 2. The trailer didn't have a spare.
If you are within 2 miles to the ramp you need to order some tires next winter. If it's farther than that, better start saving. ;)
Trailer tires are troublesome. They can look good after 3 or 4 years and be disasters waiting to happen.
If you have any concerns replace them.
Yes, that is on borrowed time, replace all them at the same time, sucks if ya got a tandem, but that way they all age the same and your not trying to remember which two you replaced
Damn you must be able to see air bubbles when you back down in the water LOL
I'd give em another couple years at least. I mean most of the tire is still there.
