I have not purchased or replaced one, but in my 08 LSV it had a twist on lock, and it could be pulled right out, and i had a plug to replace it. Its like this so when you tow the boat its not spinning due to the wind, which can damage it.Quote:

Mine too is broken. I have Star Gazer PP so I just use that for speed, but I did try to look into a replacement for the stock paddle and found this:

I haven't done anymore research on this but I have had it saved in my favorites for quite some time, just one of those things that keeps getting on the back burner. But this one is Temp/Speed/Depth, sounds like all you want in speed so maybe a little over kill.

I replaced mine a few years ago. I bought the part from Perfect Pass online. Go to there web site,they have a parts column.They are in Canada.Took about 5 minutes.
