looks good. how long did it take you to take the windows off?
oh yeah, and what % tint is that?
Taking them off was a good hour and it takes 2 people for part of it.
Center window was a snap, push the pins out.
Side sections, remove the rubber skirting.
Remove the 2 screws on the ends right by the tower legs.
Remove the 10 or so screws from the window under that rubber skirting. There is 1 screw on each side mid way up that has a bolt on it that has to be held under the dash and in the cubby respectively. This is a 2 person job.
Once all the bolts are out, grab by the walk threw and gently lift it up to break the rubber seal to the gel coat. Nothing will tear and crack, its just a pressure seal from the factory install.
Windshield it really light, maybe 25 or 30lbs a side.
Then do a lot of shopping around to get the right tint shop. They should be telling you they will take the whole thing apart to tint it correctly.
I went with 20%
Straight Sexy! I cant wait to get some pics of the ying yang twins together!:D
Man, I hate window tint but I love the look. I sure hope it works for you and you're not ready to rip it off after a few times out. It looks like a very professional job.
I knew there had to be a thread for this! Looks really good!
