Nope, you'll be just fine with 1500 lbs unless you also have 12 people in the boat in which case you might sink. We have an LSV too and run a similar weight setup to what you have. If you add 1 or two people to the bow be careful when you stop to pick up a rider or hit rollers at slow speed or the people up there will get real wet.

Which brand/model are you using for the rear lockers?

I have a pair of straight line v-drive sacs in the back of my lsv, they hold 350-400 lbs each when full. I also have a straigt line bow sac that can hold 550lbs.

Really! Who are you trying to kill?
The wake with the stock ballast still gives me pause. If I get any more air I'll be needing a pilots license.:p
( a gross exaggeration from the passenger point of view)

well got it all and all i can say is WOW, my wake is just as good as my buddys X-10 and Malibu VLX!
im using Launch Pad Rear Sacs w/ 2 launch pad pumps 350lbs each, the stock 500lb center locker bag, and an additional Fly High Pro X series Tube sac of 370lbs to put in walkway w/ a 3rd pump.
the Quick connect is the coolest thing i've ever seen on a sac. i might dump my lanch pad sacs and get 2 new Fly High ones.
