Congrats, glad to hear mom and baby are doing well.
Awesome! Congratulations!!
And boy do they grow up fast, my youngest turns 16 in two days. Seems like it was just a few years ago that I was looking at my kids all wrapped up like that.
Don't forget to enjoy all the different stages, I used to love taking my boys to Home Depot at 7:00 am when they were small and awake, I would let them grab stuff and make swords, lasers and whatever else they could think of.
And don't worry, you can sleep when they are teenagers!!
Again, Congratulations!
Congrats!
Glad everyone is happy and healthy!
Thanks everyone, getting discharged today very soon, can't wait to get home.
CONGRATS! best to you
Congratulations! Glad to hear everyone is doing great, enjoy the first couple nights of no sleep..... so I hear.
Yep. Congrats.
The first several nights were the best sleep. It is a few days later they get their attitudes'.
Enjoy and be thankful every day no matter how many buttons they push.
2 1/2 yrs old and swimmin like a fish. This year will be more fun than last...
Congrats, my friend! We were only 1 day behind you and had our beautiful baby girl on Monday. This was our first and what an experience it was! It changes your DNA overnight and I can't wait to see whats next.
Cheers!
Congrats. Let's see some pics of your precious girl.
Awesome.
For those with towers, we bought a king sized bed sheet and hang it from the tower and run a corner to each cleat (bow or stern) with the blue tarp clips from lowes (which sink, but are cheaper than buying a float for keys for each one so we have a few spares) that we put up when anchored.
Sun screen, bucket of water, some boating toys, squirt bottle (for them and them to squirt you), and u/v repellent shirts.
No need to not go as much boating as before, just keep them cool (squirt bottle, shade and bucket to sit in).
What a difference between growing up wearing a life jacket vs fighting with nieces/nephews to put it on before getting near the water.
Enroll in swimming lessons early. (YMCA has parent and me class that you just go in with them we did in winter), but being near water and flops can happen, at 2 1/2 I am very confident he can swim w/ his jacket on, (he was on his own with us in the water at the end of last year). This year at lessons in the winter, he was jumping off the side wall over his head under and loving it.
Take a cpr class for the worst case (I never want to need it), but the instructions are different for infants than adults. Red Cross and others have instructors.
