I am looking at hooking up a light bar and I was wondering if anyone knows how much load (amps) the acc swithces can handle on the 2004 Moomba XLV. Any help would be great.
Thanks

I put a light bar on my 03 LSV and used a horn relay actuated by the accessory switch. They are very inexpensive and will eliminate any worries about the switch overload.
I have an 04 LSV and the switch is rated at 20 AMP. Most light bars draw more than 20 AMP. I used a 12V 30 AMP relay to hook up my light bar.
I have a 2004 XLV with the GG light bar (5 lights x 55 watts). The acc switch is rated at 20amps and I calculated 22.9amps for my light bar. I had the dealer send me a 25amp switch, but I have not needed it. I have been running on the 20amp switch with no problems. I figured I was better off to stay with the lower amp rated switch to prevent a melt down of my light bar.
