when i ordered my '11 i had the standard 4 leg aluminum tube tower put on it. the V2 was brand new and a $3500 option i didnt want. well now i think i do.
is it possible to purchase a V2 or OZ tower outright?
can a dealership get this for me? is there somewhere else i could buy one?
any idea on price? i can handle the install myself. just need the tower and backing/mounting plates.

I'm not sure about a V2, but a dealer could certainly get you an Oz or the new, HD Oz tower. The mounting points are a lot different than your current tower, so you"ll have some gel cost repair to do.
Can't believe no one has called dibs on your Z5 yet! :)

I don't think so. Plus the V2 may be difficult to buy since Skiers Choice no longer offers it. The new OZ tower would work great on your boat though.

problem was that few folks opted to spend the extra coin

Same as the current towers Moomba is using but its a larger diameter tube like the old LSV XLV towers. Its a 450 upgrade option if your buying a new boat but im not sure the cost to buy one outright.Quote:

The new Oz HD tower will be available for LSV and Mojo models beginning on April 1st spray dates. The option is now offered on Dealer Circle at a dealer cost of $350 and you may start adding it to your orders.
The Oz HD tower has the look of the current Oz Tower but with larger (2”) tubing. In addition it comes standard with a spring loaded fold assist mechanism to make folding and unfolding a piece of cak..
I think you're boat would look pretty sweet with a black powder coated tower! It'd be a lot easier and cheaper, but I'm just a fan of that tower. Otherwise v2>oz IMO
A mojo with the HD tower should be delivered to NY soon.....anyday now.
