You got it. It was stuck in the dip stick tube for 2 days with me trying EVERYTHING to get it out. I read everything i could find on the internet and everyone said the same thing....Don't ever do it. Finally i was able to get it to come out, still not sure how but it was out and i learned my lesson..
Do the newer boats come w/a drain hose installed? My '02 Supra had one, but I'm not sure if my '16 Craz does.
The new raptors have a hose on the starboard side of engine.

Ditto. Came here for the sole purpose of finding out what threads were on the drain hose fitting. Now to order a pump...
Is a pump necessary if I have the water strainer/flush kit? I'm not in a hurry, figured I could run the boat in my driveway and get it up to operating temp, then let oil drain. Knowing it'll take an hour or so.
Any other reason for a pump?
If the drain hose will fit through the bail plug hole, no.
On my last boat, I'd pull the hose out, zip tie it to the trailer with a drain pan underneath, and just let it drain. It took 5-10 min cold.
I see some people are routing the drain hose right through the bottom boat plug hole. Has anyone had to put an extension on their oil drain hose to get this to work?
