Can you see one in person before buying? I've looked at few Go-Pro alternatives as well and after reading some reviews ended up backing away from the keyboard. Finding out things like you have to open up the waterproof case to turn the thing on and off. Duh - nice design flaw.
I wish the gopro had a zoom on it. It would be nice to mount it on the tower and not have the rider look like an insect behind the boat. That is my big beoch about the gopro. I have seen some of the lenses 3rd party companies make for it but all alternatives look like they suck and ruin the water proof design.

Just got an email on this one - looks respectable at first glance and inexpensive. Like the whole thing is waterproof and doesn't require a case over it?

For the money, it definitely doesn't look bad. Reading some of the reviews and basically, everyone is saying it does what it says, but it's definitely a price point camera and to keep in mind, your getting what you pay for. Probably wouldn't hurt to try it! Also looks like it doesn't work with a Mac. The suction cup mount looks A LOT like the GoPro mount too. :P
looks to be same design as the polaroid but on the very cheap...........
