If you have a a wired remote on the transom try disconnecting it. When they get wet they foul up the headunit.

Elaborate on " no power on the MB Quart" if you can. Do you mean the turn-on rocker lights up but the head-unit does not, or do you mean you are using a volt meter at the back of the head-unit and do not have B+ where you think you should?Quote:

Basically I flip the rocker switch to turn the stereo on. The LED for the rocker switch is on, but the MB Quart doesn't turn on. No lights, no music, no response?
A couple of simple checks with a basic volt meter are in order. You will quickly determine if the problem is the head-unit or upstream in the power supply.Quote:

You check the breaker under the stereo area?
Checked, plus reset the main breaker also
They obviously bumped something loose if it worked before they changed the USB cord., could be power, remote or ground that came loose.
Could get interesting as dealership is two hours away from me and cost about 150$ to drive back and forth twice. Think they would of checked the stereo afterwards.
Problem solved, somehow the ground for the system beneath the observers chair had been cut. Got it fixed though
Glad that worked, saved you a four hour round trip and a lot of bad words on the way.....
