Go to youtube and type jack beams and check out the video with the GoPro suction cupped to the wakeboard. Bit splashy but kind of cool.

Jack - Not there. At least, I'm not finding it. Did see the other videos. What's the date or title? - Stuart
That's a very cool perspective Jack. You say it was just suction cupped to your board? Wild.
They also have adhesive disc mounts if you have fears of the suction cup coming loose. I use a diver's tether strap from the camera to the port, rear tie down eye when the camera is suctioned to the back of the boat as my daughters have a knack for getting the rope caught around the gopro. Cheap insurance for an expensive toy, IMO.

It was suction cupped to the wakeboard but trust me, it was tethered. Tied it from the camera to the handle on the binding. It didn't come loose though. Seems to stick good but will still tether.
Very cool perspective. Good job.
Here is some raw footage from last summer that I snapped off a helmet cam

That's pretty good rd. I just uploaded 2 more videos on you tube again from todays run. Really a nice day and the water is warming up. Both waterskiing and wakeboarding with the head mount. Check it out!!!
David, cool video...is that a gator you ran over at 2:10? or just one of those small river lizards...geez!
that was just a log, I have never seen a gator wait for a rider to go over the top of him in person. We have a picture from last weekend at our club spring round up of someone doing an olley over a gators head. I was surprised he didn't dive to get out of the way. That seems to be what they do when I see them.
Yall keep your gators! We'll stick to the possibility of seeing a Gar every now and then!
Anybody else having trouble with youtube vids playing all the way through lately? Shows the video is like 5min, but at 1:47 it is ending. Play head slider is clear at the end and colored red like it's done, but I know it's not...
I've had that happen to Berg. Not sure what is up. I haven't been motivated enough to try and figure out what the problem is.
here is another one i just put up today of my friend chris riding being filmed by my go pro rope mount. it is a little shaky but there are some cool slow mo shoots near the end

dont fool yourself into thinking there are no alligators in Georgia....
Oh, there are plenty. I can't stand their dumb blue & orange shirts, hats and jerseys and even dumber chomp cheer.

I use the Free one. I've uploaded 4 so far and had no issues. Now later on, who knows what I might get limited down to... Only thing when I upload them is it takes darn near an hour to "process" so I can't watch the video from the site for a while.
I'm also a Vimeo user. Sometimes I will use music in my videos I create and YouTube always mutes the sound on those. Vimeo isn't as strict on that. It doesn't have as big an audience as YouTube does, but it's a quality site! I don't really care if random people that use a video site see my videos as much as I just want a place to store the videos so I can link them to my Facebook page or in forums like this. Give Vimeo a try and see what you think!
Vimeo free version has a 500mb file size limit I found. So if you're shooting stuff in HD with sound you may have to do some editing to make it short and sweet. Haven't come across this limitation on Youtube yet but I have made a few bucks off videos being posted on Youtube!
Uh, that sounded kinda dirty. :p
