The exile setup is strong. That's the route I went....
4 xm 9's, harpoon amp to power, six in boats sx 65m, and a 12 XID dvc
Customer service has been great as wellas Brian and the team.
I love my Exile setup, which is 3 pairs of SX65 on an Xi800.4, and 2 XM9s on a Harpoon. I don't have Exile subs or sub amp, but the stuff I do have is top notch.
I have exile sxt65 on my tower (4) run with the harpoon and I have 12" exile sub and amp. I just got in the zld that I'll be putting in soon.
I am very pleased. The xm7 and xm9 are even better.
They call the sxt65's more of a surf setup and the xm series better for hearing at the end of a wakeboard rope. I can hear mine at 70' just fine.
Brian from Exile visits in here regularly. He's very helpful.
I am very pleased with my setup and think you will as well.
2- 400.4-- 1 for the tower speakers which are 2 xn9's, 1 for the 6 interior speakers which are Polk 6.5". 1 big 12 with harpoon amp. The dealer rep here said it would bang and be clear. I'm ready to get the stuff in. I'll be taking the polls out and replacing them with excile sx65m.
You will Definately want the harpoon for the towers.
Exile rocks! I am super stoked with my setup. The only problem I've had with my system is that my wife keeps telling me to turn it down!
A harpoon on 2 xm9's??
Harpoon rms 300w x 2 at 4 ohms
Xm 9 rms 150 to 250 w at 4 ohms.
Perfect match for each other.

The harpoon was designed for tower speakers I think. I'm running all exile and like it
