Warranty expectations.

On my 3rd Skiers Choice boat now and as I come up on my one year anniversary of purchasing my current boat I have a growing list of minor things that need to be replaced/repaired on my boat. A few spots of the Seadeck where the tan is separating from the black base on a point in the Seadeck. One bubble about the size of a golf ball in the middle of the rear surf locker where the whole piece is coming loose. I also have the Supra Verge 2 Black lettering on the P and R on the very edge of the letter where the black is wearing off down to the silver below. I have only used Exile style buoy balls to tie up occasionally with another boat or in a slip...maybe 8-10 times total. Having not read the warranty information am I expecting too much for these items to be covered under warranty?

I would say it all depends on the dealer. some will and some wont. supra dealer in boise took care of me like I was a vip(no longer rep skiers tho).

looking at your sig, they would be fools not to as it appears you trade boats/trucks like some trade shoes so keeping you happy will increase chances that when you trade up in a year they get the business.

I would say yes on the sea deck and no on letter wear on buoy balls.

Larry you have the black letters your SA are you experiencing any of the black coming off?

I have the chrome letters, no wear on mine, but I actually have never used my bumpers yet.

Can you touch it up with a black paint pen?

Not sure haven't tried to do anything to them yet. I have to bring it in today for the 150 hour service so I'll find out shortly if they are going to take care of me or not.

I don’t know how much two letters cost.

Can you buy just two letters? I thought they came from the dealer in the entire strip ready to peel off.

Not sure if my buddy ordered it that way b/c he was replacing the entire word on both sides of the boat.

I thought they came on the strip as the whole side as well.

Somebody is selling the black Moomba letters in the classified section now as the entire strip.

The black letters look great but if you cannot every use a buoy ball and tie up with the black letters then that could be a deal breaker. Like I said its not like I use the old school bumpers that will scratch gelcoat these are Exile buoy balls. My Moomba had the chrome letters and 2017 SA had the Supra gun metal and it wasn't an issue.

Ohh my bad, I assumed you could buy individual letters.

I know my dealer was having the SUPRA letters custom painted. They looked really good.
