We had a great July 4th vacation and glad to get back home. Lake was rough as hell but we found some time to enjoy it once crowds thinned a little. Always a good time in Lake Martin!

Here’s some video footage. You can see I almost recovered from that thing but got gassed lol. I had smartplate at 20 on that one but the rest was 15 so a little steeper. This was also the first time I’ve ridden without the Chaos inner canard fins and really liked how it loosened up my Neo. Should have done that long ago. Trying to practice baby floaters lol and try to get better with my body position slashing.

Back to normal as the holiday crowds have thinned.
Saturday was a lot more crowded than the 4th! I normally avoid holidays like the plague but this season we’ve been on the water for Memorial Day and July 4th. Time for a break lol.
Here’s another angle I forgot to upload from the other thread. Gotta love that ultra blue pop! Had the RGBs in party mode and when the yellow shined in contrast of the blue and with the sunset in the background I had to snag a pic. Reminded me of someone’s Craz on here that was ultra blue, black and yellow but can’t remember the name for the life of me.

Great pics! And that's the best water to be on when it's like that. The kids bouncing off the tube reminds me of when my daughter and her friends were that age and would play "popcorn", which is see who can stay on the longest without holding on to any handles.

I must be getting old because I won't ride much anymore unless the water is like that. The place we have been going the last 15 years every 4th there are usually the same people or groups every year. I've seen a black Makai on a galvanized trailer a few years and finally got to talk to them and ask why galvanized. We don't have any brackish water around here and you rarely see a wakeboat on Puget Sound. He said the people who custom ordered the boat opted for that trailer, then never bought the boat. Go figure.
I'll have to see if anyone got picks of my son on the foil. He had a ton of slack on the 2nd wave but never dropped the rope. Considering he's about 6'7" he looks like he's WAY above the water. LOL
After 14,217 360 attempts and still not riding one out I've started trying to get some airs as this Doomswell is a pretty fast board. It will probably only take another 13,478 tries before I get fins out of the water.
