Kicking off the month of July with Pictured Rocks national shoreline between Munising and Grand Marais upper peninsula Michigan.

Lake Superior is a gamble and I don't think they see many wakeboats but the weather was good so we went for it.

Water temps at the surface were a brisk 60F and air temp 72F

Also found an 1800's shipwreck, 150 foot wooden Schooner in about 20 feet of water, 10 feet below the surface. Water is so cold the wood doesn't rot.

Cool pics. Lake Superior - the only Great Lake I have not been boating on.

I bet it's very green up there and beautiful - you are WAY up there.
Hope you get some calm south winds.

Never been to the great lakes. Had buddies who used to ride standups on the great lakes and talk about 6 ft surf out there. Cant imagine that! One lost a ski in about 40 ft of water and ended up finding it hundreds of feet away. Apparently they claim there are underwater currents in those lakes as well.

Superior is a beast, yesterday there were 4 footers, today it was calm.

Pictured rocks is stunning from the water side.

We passed a couple overlooks packed with people viewing pictured rocks. I put on Gordon Lightfoot "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald "
and got cheers from the crowd.

Edmund Fitzgerald sunk about 30-40 miles from where we were.

I see Larry turned into a Yooper for the day and no longer a troll :) :)

spent a little time in the bay of Green Bay which is part of lake michigan. great times but being a body of water that you can only see land miles away in one direction is a little unsettling in a 22ft boat...... went out to the last channel marker and decided the pucker factor said turn around.

Beautiful pictures! That may have to be a future vacation trip for me and the wife before too long. We did the Maine coast last year. Great lakes sound interesting.

Either use an image host site like Imgur or use Tapatalk app to post larger pictures.

Yesterday was an awesome day. Felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Not to mention it was almost glass everywhere.

Tapatalk app is the easiest.

Older technology on the forums, so to cut/paste URLs from a picture hosting site is a PITA.

I have some bags of lead to toss around and it really helps when I have different crew sizes. I have a different set of bags that never move.

There is more than one way to weight your SL depending on how you like the wave. Wakeboarding is easier to setup, but I do not need to add that much weight.

Have fun learning the new boat.

Went to see the dead last night in the sphere. flat out amazing experience and recommend if you come to sin city BUT don't bring a fear of heights... it's a steep long way up. I promise last photo set, Lake Superior has tons of shipwrecks, we found the schooner called the Bermuda, 150 foot wooden ship sunk in 1870, very well preserved due to cold water temps.

It's in about 20 feet of water, but top deck is about 10 feet under the surface, my son dove down to touch the deck, no thanks lol

I'm trying to figure out how much weight I need to add to get the 9degrees of bow rise. Popped 150 in back and will get there at 80% center so clearly need more

First family outing with SV in the books and everything was great, aside from a few holiday boater idiots and dodging weather. Absolutely LOVE the drop step!!!

Poured on us on the way back to the dock and we got soaked. Wiped the boat down good with hot sauce on the outside and I left the cover off it so the interior could dry out.

Hak the new SV is looking great on the water and a very nice wave too.

Hak, the trailer also projects a neat little Supra logo on the ground you’ll see when it’s dark.

Forgot to post some pics solo boating a few weeks ago to finish off the break-in hours. Been nothing but rain ever since and it needs to clear up this weekend or I’m gonna go crazy lol. Ready to get back out!

Beautiful pictures! And good for you on picking up the floating debris. Yeah, that thing could have at least been a bad gel coat scratcher for sure. Or really get someone on a tube or board!
