Well....it's no surfboat! But I bought a 22 ft pontoon last weekend. It's a 2008 with a 3.0L 4 cly Mercruiser I/O. Just took all the seats out to take to have them recovered. Runs pretty good and pontoons and floor are solid. Project boat, like I needed another project. But this gives the kids and wife something to drive and hang out on when the Moomba is parked.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...934725b233.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2233d5352d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...335ed383c0.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...d7895ce8c3.jpg

You doing anything with the carpet?
Would look sweet all gatorstep. Would probably have to cover the wood first with plastic sheeting.
Spending others people money is so easy...lmao
Garage is getting close to being done- It will be nice to have a indoor place for the boat.
Indoor half vaulted and half room..Size is 36x50.

Garage looks sweet! We are hoping to get a 48x60 going here soon. Already paid for plans and engineering. I think that was the easy part. Still don’t have a price tag yet….
^^Will it be stick built or pole barn?
I am going to be at about $48-50k having done all the work myself except the concrete work. Price wise- The room in the trusses and vaulted trusses added about $4k over standard trusses. Also keep in mind I bought all the wood last Oct when prices were down, they are double today. I am also doing LP Smart siding (which is expensive)- saving $6k painting it myself.
Guessing if I had contracted out the whole building it would have been $85-100k.
Brad that garage is sweet! You're gonna love all that space, and what I assume will be a man cave?

We are going for a monitor building to match our farmhouse style home. It will be stick built and I have to finish it to match the house per our CC&R's so it will be a spendy build compared to a pole barn. Basically like below but on a grander scale with 14' doors and twin cupolas. I'm hoping we could do it with no support poles but since I'm also shooting for a full depth loft in the center bay that is probably unlikely or the beams would be crazy expensive.
I'm planning to do as much as I realistically can but there's no way I would take this on myself. Found a builder who is good to let me take on as little or as much as I want. So I'll for sure run electrical, paint, and eventually insulate and finish. Maybe do the siding.
Been wanting to do this for years but then of course when we finally got close to making it a reality we had a pandemic then a Russian invasion. Plans may change or get delayed once we see the price tag.

Finally had a chance to pull the cover off and start getting it ready. Feels like I’m already behind but the water just hasn’t warmed up much. Got all the bags hooked back up, plugs are all in and the impeller is changed. Ready for a good coat of wax and some much needed lake time. You can tell my helpers ready for it too :)

That's no joke! So far if you through the fuel filter out of the question, most of it hasn't been too bad to get to. The fuel filter placement just really seems like an after thought. Having the big engine dividers that come out easy makes it pretty decent to maintain, well that and the huge lockers
Yes, the big lockers help a lot, but after I cram my 6'3 frame in there, I am so balled up I can't do much except look, twist and try to turn my body in different awkward angles, and fuss![emoji28]

Well cr*p thought this weekend was going to be our first day out for the season, now they are talking storms with 25-35mph winds, guess thats all part of spring but it just needs to shift do that stuff during the week and give us some nice weekends.
It was snowing in Ohio the past 2 days, flurries today.
I went out and talked to my Mojo to make sure everything was OK but nothing close to water time.
I'm waiting on a new tow vehicle also so the snow is helping delay my excitement.
80s this wkend in Ktown TN.
Between a few cars shows, I need to pull the boat out.

Something tells me you will get it in there![emoji16]

I work for an architecture firm so deal with these prices on a daily basis...make sure you're sitting down when you open that quote & have a clean pair of shorts available haha. It's nuts right now
Man that's pretty though!

Got the boat wet for the season! Air temp was 81 and water temp was 73. Beautiful day on Martin! It was windy as hell when I launched and got pushed against the dock. Thankfully the rubber coping around the dock saved the day and was able to clean it off easily. My heart sank at first though seeing the entire midsection of my boat with black and gray scrapes along side it. Had a nice old fella come help me wrangle the boat against the wind and so glad he was there lol. One of those days but glad to get the cob webs blown out and ready for the season!

Too windy and stormy to get on the water this weekend, little jealous of those that did, but I did finally get a upper body workout in, lot of area to cover! Very pleased with the results.

Its been a rough two years for me and Beastia MOJO - 2020 I worked almost all summer due to the Pandemic and me being in Water Treatment.
Also with all the people buying boats our dock took a beating. Got everything fixed and managed to get maybe 30hrs on her.
2021 was worse as I switched jobs to Honeywell and I was gone almost the entire summer, I was gone so much the wife asked me to put Beastia on the trailer and park her in the driveway as she was afraid something would go wrong at the dock and she would have to deal with it herself. I didn't even burn a tank a fuel through her,
She was right, 3 times we had to fix the dock due to people not respecting the distance laws, broken cables and the like. Then when I was home weather was not favorable to go out. On Labor weekend I was on the dock with a buddy and kept hearing loud pops, bangs when rollers came through.
Found out the docks frame was busted in 3 places from all the traffic.
This season we have a new to us dock being installed this week, our lift will get moved also and I'm actually planning another job change that will guarantee more time at home to enjoy the Lake Front Property we own. Also I hope this also finally brings me back to the Moomba family here. As I have been pretty absent due to my travels. I really do enjoy spending my time here keeping up with the people, and there are so many new people here now
Mike, it’s good to see you back on here. I know work can suck all the fun out of the summer, we didn’t get to put all that many hours on our ‘21 Mojo.

@mmamdley We have missed you. When I saw your name on a post I thought it was going to be spam on an old post. Cool to see you’re back after being gone for a bit.
Yep, welcome back Mandley. Now we need to find wayward Trayson.
I miss some of my car/truck forums, but the sad part is they were going dead.
I think peeps get to a social media are getting the same overload.
Thanks guys, just glad to get her out of storage and on the water. Not going to lie I thought my season was done for when I launched and the boat got pushed to the dock then drug along the corner edge. Thankfully not harm done and was able to clean up all the scraps which turned out to be nothing but rubber that came off. Scared the hell out of me seeing massive gray and black marks all down the side LOL. I hate wind.
