for us, we found that malco cleaner was the best to use to clean the vinyl. it's hard to find but if you can, it works real well to clean almost anything off the seats. you MUST follow up with a uv cleaner afterwards if you use it tho. babes or 303 are what we used.
seats in our supra and first tige looked as good as new after 5 years of use using those.
if you have chilltek tho there's a lot of do nots to cleaning seats and iirc from Larry, only soap/water was recommended.
Yup, chill tech is supposed to use 30-1 Dawn dishsoap and water.

Armour All multipurpose cleaner.
If people are going to use sunscreen on my boat.....
1) no spray sunscreen, spray is a waste anyways as transfer efficiency sucks.
2)Best to pre apply before getting on boat.
3)If applying on boat, get on the swim platform until it soaks in.

30:1 would be 4oz of dawn to 1 gallon of water...to me that might be overkill.....
Supra includes a marked spray bottle and a bottle of Dawn soap with new boats.
It’s a 32oz bottle. Pretty easy to do an ounce of soap to 30oz of water
It’s not super critical. Close enough
A shot glass is 1.5oz.....just estimate an ounce

We are having the same issue; the simple soap and water mixture is not taking the sunscreen off very well. Also, our Chill Tech is so hot that it is almost impossible to sit on when the sun is beating on it. I believe our color is Pecan...definitely go as light as you can if you boat in an area where it can get hot.
Did some testing on chill tech. It gets hot, but as soon as you apply pressure to the surface of the vinyl, temps drop 25f.
Spent last week in upper 80’s and sun and chill tech black and dark graphite never “burned”.

Near burned my feet with socks on the chill tech the day I handed over keys to the new owner. It was 89 at 11 am as we did another walk thru and systems orientation. The gator step was even hotter. When I sit it isn’t as hot, but burns my feet.

Babes boat soap is what we use and it cuts thru most funk left on the seats. Then we apply babes seat saver. We don’t have chill tech.
Perhaps call Spradling direct for tech support?
