Supra SG Models 2015-16-17

Who are the SG experts out there?

Getting ready to look at a used SG and did not know what changes Supra made over the 3 years they sold them?

Raptor motors did not change over the years - 400, 440, and 575

Stereo options. I think the 15s had Polk systems. I know JL started around 2016 and continued into 2017.

Surf system - did the 15 have Swell 1.0 - first gen like the SE? Then in 16-17 they used Swell 2.0? Or was that used in all years?

Launch - I recall that being a newer 17 option.

Towers - Did the towers have any big changes? Roswell? I recall the ProEdge tower but have not idea when it was released.

Dash/screen - any big changes here?

Not sure if the steering wheel controls came out in 15? But they had in the later models.

I will head over to the Supra site and see what downloads are available, but just wanted to post something up here.

I have a 17 SG. I believe the only major change from 16 to 17 is the addition of autowake. When Looking I did notice a number of changes between 15 and 17 though. A good friend has a 16 SE and our boats are basically identical.

Sg could be my favorite Supra. Look awesome in the water.

That is a big change to 17 on the autowake. Would like to find a 17 in a good color. This was 15 - grey flake with red/black accents.

Pretty sure swell 1 is 15, swell 2 16 and 17, autowake for 17 and new tower for 16 and 17. Premiere has an SG on their page that's really nice

Thanks. Good call on the year upgrades. You know your Supra upgrades.

I'm going to talk to Zach about that boat if I see him at the boat show this weekend. Might go Friday night. I'm not thrilled about the outside color. I like the white, not so much that blue accent color, but I need to see it in person.

This is correct. Auto launch is also on the 16 and wheel controls as well.
All new JL audio From 16 on.
Rear camera was new in 16 also.

How different are the SG and SL hulls? They look identical

Same size boat, inside is really close to the same. The bow on the SL is a little bigger as it has a wider nose. The key to the SL is the sub floor ballast and the new plates. I also believe they changed the lines on the hull to clean up the wakes.
