Let's just say there are some BIG changes coming.
Yeah. Been following the other thread. I started this one before but could only post the above screenshot instead of the teaser vid. Looking at a max, I think the new bOat will probably be more than I’m Looking for. I am interested in updates to the max. Would love a PB interior and maybe some seats built into the stern. And a walkover for the sunpad. And maybe some surf storage on the Bimini.
Does this count as a peanut butter interior?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...6f57bf91d8.jpg

that interior would be hot as $hit in the summer in the west....
no way I would ever entertain those colors in a sunny climate.
Got some good insight on the new Moomba model coming soon. It’s going to be a beast and made to compete with the ski Nautique and axis A24. And for the Supra guys the SE is supposed to have 4000lbs of ballast stock. Also I was told the new Moomba is supposed to be ready by the next boat show in Dallas which is coming up in July so we should see it really soon

By "ski nautique" are you talking about the nautique ski boat or one of the g series boats(wake/wakeboard models)? And that is a weird statement to compare axis, moomba, and nautique. Sounds like someone just throwing random boats out there. I would think the supras would be comparable to nautique, Malibu, mastercraft. If they are talking wake performance only, maybe the new moomba is comparable, but overall features i.e. Interior, screens, build quality, I just don't see moomba matching up to the others. Not knocking moomba at all just don't understand that particular comparison.
I agree with above. Not knocking Moomba, but there is a reason for 2 different lines.

Believe he is talking about he new sport series from Nautique perhaps—

Sorry meant to put air. Your crazy if you think that Axis is built better then Moomba. Axis is as plain as it gets but they do offer a 24ft model which Moomba does not (yet) and reason he was saying Nautique is the walk through design that the new Moomba supposedly has. Few weeks we’ll find out for sure
You must really hate Moomba if you don’t see them matching up to others?

Don't hate moomba at all, they make a really nice boat. I have been on a 13 mojo that had an awesome wave with manual tabs. The pictures on here show some amazing looking waves.
My statement was with some of the features inside the boat. The moomba screen on the dash is about a quarter of the size of a supra, Malibu, nautique screen. Just one example I gave. I said they make a great boat and was not knocking them, just don't think they compare to the other brands in all aspects overall.
Lastly, like I said in other posts I am super excited to seethe new stuff roll out!
I think he thought you were stating Axis was better than the Moomba. Moomba has come a long ways in the last 5 years and has surpassed Axis in every department. The NXT was never in the same conversation and I believe the GS series is aimed at a whole different market.
I heard 4100. All subfloor.

IMHO: I don’t think you need worry about competing with them on the surf front...there’s not a boat alive that doesn’t need more weight. Centurion included. I know a crew that runs a 257 and adds 1800 to it. 7000#+ of ballast! They say it’s good stock, but epic slammed. Just like anything. In that spirit the SL is good stock, and epic slammed with 1000#+ of lead. The extra magic is the clean switching with true level weight with 3.0. That’s genius!
A few fairly objective people I know, with non-Supra loyalties, say that a 1000# leaded SL is in the conversation for the best wave they have ridden. Slammed Ri257 included.

I just dunno if I buy it... i surfed an SL, it was good, not great, but we also didn’t have any extra weight.
I love my supra, don’t get me wrong. But if centurions build quality had been even 50% better than it was I’d be riding behind one. The wave stock was unreal. I’m curious with everything shifting to surfing from wakeboarding how long it’ll be until another manufacturer goes to a V Hull like Centurion for the extra ballast room and displacement.
I don’t think it would displace any more water—that’s a straight line equation, is it not?
Ride an SL with 1000# and report back!

That’d be a hell of a place to let everyone see the newest toy! Lol
Looked really hard at centurions, Ri and Fi, but just could not get over the poor fit and finish at that price point.
Gel looks great, interior is just honestly that bad.
And being little brother the Nautique doesn’t help matters.

Good Hawaiian name..... Makai “go towards the sea”

If that's the name of the new Moomba I LOVE IT!
Don’t always get wrapped up in ballast numbers. Yes there is no replacement for displacement. However, hull design and surf system technology is a big player also. G’s out of the box are 2850 I think. Now do you want to add more to that, of course.

Yes, the hull design does play a big factor. And SC makes a great hull, they all just needs more weight. They know it as well as we do! Lol
Is there any storage in a 5100# Ri 237?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
There lots of storage. Most of the weight (around 3000#) is subfloor with the Ramfill. And the weird part is there’s even more storage if you go to the Fi version. It’s got little storage lockers everywhere lol
It’s just a shame that the boat is falling apart already before you even buy it.
Since we are going down a rabbit hole, I loved the screen on the FI! I agree with everything else though, didn't get to surf one but would like to.
BTW, the 2019 Moomba or a Used 2017 SA might be on my short list, anyone looking for a 2013 Supra SA? 230 hours!
Drum roll for the big Moomba?

Agreed, centurions build quality is crap to say the least. But that’s what happens in commiefornia. They can’t use good glue and binders lol. When I demo’d One it took hours to get ready and it wasn’t even the boat I wanted cus nothing worked.
There isn't much storage left in the RI's from what I hear, once the floor has been raised for ballast.
Any idea how much more expensive the Supra's will be? Sounds like quality and cost is going up for both Moomba and Supra.
