How does everyone scan the forums?
I think I've heard some that use the "new posts" method. I randomly click refresh on the main page and skim down the list to see if new postings have been made.

I'm a fan of the new post button. I like being able to see everything that is new on one or two pages then being able to mark them all read and start fresh...3 minutes later. lol
I bookmark the new post page. :)
new posts here as well. too much time when viewing on a phone to scan anything..
Usually comb through randomly as I don't care much for my day job and can afford the time if I want. Like MMandley said one time, I'll look and see if suggestions I make help or do more harm than good! Always like to see other's setups and get ideas for mods, learn about where others go out on the water, etc. Funny stories and a few ah-ha moments on here help to pass the time.

You will never look back! The new post page is the homepage on my droid, and I have a quicklink or w/e it is called on my firefox toolbar that comes straight here!

Dumb question: How do you mark a thread as 'read' w/o actually going into it?

I've deleted the SC Inc posts, as he has been banned. Sorry for the inconvenience. This thread makes no sense from about half way down now.

Actually, only the user name "SC Ink" was banned and not the individiual.
and if you really wanted to do it right, you would use "ban as a spammer" and take out all the posts of the banned individual.
