Lake Belton is warming up so nice at a lovely 82-83 degrees.
My lake hit 95.5 degrees several days back. Not comfortable. We got some rain and some clouds and it came down on Thursday to 92. A bit more tolerable. Funny feeling dropping into the water after a long run to feel like you are in a bathtub. I will check it again in a couple of hours.
Our's was 69 yesterday.
Ours is in the lower 80's last time I looked. Felt good with the 100 degree temps we are having.
Water temp here is low 70's.
60.5 on friday, 59.5 on saturday. boarded/surfed on friday and it was nice. took the pontooner and did the booze cruize on saturday, only getting in to lose some liquid :)
low 70s here in Upstate NY
ditto Brad, cruised a little today no riding( baby really can't spot) took a dip about 70 to 71:D
66 in denver. may get up to 73 in august.
we were at 82 today at the local lake feels great in the sun and still feels good cloudy or approaching dark. a good mix of rain keeps around 75-85 here
I think it was 82 or 83 the other day on the Flint.
I dont know the exact temp of our river but its extremely hot (prob high 80's to low 90's). I almost miss the temps from 2 months ago!
Saturday our lake temp 68
It's was 91 at West point Lake GA on Saturday. Like Bath Water, but a gorgeous day! No Gators, Babies, Moms, Dads or otherwise!
Yesterday 60 here
65 degrees on Sunday at Wabamum Lake, Alberta... a little cool at first but was fine afterwards.
90 degrees on the lake in fly-over country. Very comfortable.
64.4 yesterday. Started with wetsuits till the sun started warming up to , 28 celcious ,HOT by our standards then by afternoon and skiing no wetsuits. Yeah Summer finally.
My PP says 66.2, however it seems much warmer.,
Corp of engineers website says 91 on the surface at chl in tn
About mid to upper 70's in Lake Mead, which is a nice refresher in the 110 degree midday sun.
went out this eve around 7:30 and water was warmer than air.. had a cool front today.. air was mid-upper 60s.. water was 70. funny 70 water felt much warmer today than sunday when air was 80s
air today was 85 water temp 75. twas just perfect!
went out on friday..........water almost 75 degrees and air at 90. Beautiful!!
Jumped in tonight after supper. Has been in the high 80's touching 90 for a while, humidity that would make florida stand up and say "hey". Gotta say that water felt r pretty darn warm!
Ours was 84 in mid july and I still thought that was kinda cool. I have low tolerance to cold and now its 78 and i have a hard time going in lol
We went to Yale on Sunday and it was a refreshing 74 on a 97 degree day
We went to Hagg on Monday and it was a warm 82 degrees and 96 degree outside.
I rather have the 74 water
Mike,
One of our temp gauges is way off. I was at Hagg on Sunday and the highest water temp I saw was 75 (air temp was mid 90's). At my brother's lake house in KS, the water temp was mid to high 80's and it was a lot warmer than Hagg. I tend to believe my temp gauge more than yours :)
Idk Al i tend to like the readings on mine and as for that its said before compared to what that water temp felt and and what it feels now seems pretty right on.
Tell ya what, we need to get out again together and compare :D
I know when the water was colder we both read the same temps.
I personally don't trust my PP temp gauge. Ii will tell you that since the humidity went away the water has cooled off considerably. Air today was 80's and water felt cool when I jumped in for my passes. Don't get me wrong with 80's for air temp the cooler feeling water was refreshing, I'm just saying that for us in the north you can tell we are on the tail end of the summer.
Yeah I know, low to mid 50's at night already. Great for sleeping, not so good for holding water temps

I'm thinking the same thing sled. Getting cooler at night although i remember we had warm days in Sept.
