Looks like a good idea, but try to find something with better reviews. Also not sure how waterproof it needs to be if you install on the dash. We put the phones, wallet, etc. in the glovebox and my Mojo has a usb port in there for charging. The radio controls the music via bluetooth so no loss.Quote:

Im not going to lie wireless charging is terrible on a boat. You never leave your phone there long enough to get any real charge. Every bump of the water doesn't disconnect it but it will kinda jack with your bluetooth giving you a slight delay. Then the issue of the sun. Its a neat feature to have but I plug into a usb charger right beside my wireless one haha

My Supra wireless charger barely charges my iPhone X. Had it on for an hour and it gained 1%.

I pretty much lock my phone in the holder and don't touch it again all day except to change playlists occasionally.
I put mine in last outing and was streaming for 5 hrs, and only removed it for 10 mins. I had went from 65% to full through a wallet case.
