My boat listed is really too powerful. It kills your calves trying to put the break on all the time. After surfing even, then going listed, I didn’t much care for the listed wave. Def doesn’t lack any push lol

Fuel burn matters to me. I'm on track for an easy 4k in gas this year. let's call depreciation at 8k/year on a 100k boat. That's significant.

Oh and 4k in cash spent equates to how much in income before taxes???? Good thing I have friends who help pay the fuel bill.

I don’t think it’s shaming, but it’s a known part of wake boating. The mass of these boats and the load on these engines are high.

That said, the raptors sip gas compared to older GM LS based options. I have not talked to anyone with a new DI LT based GM engine, but I have to imagine they will do best on gas.

You missed the shaming portion— anytime someone asks about fuel economy there’s always someone who says why should you care you spent $100,000 on a boat (or something like that).

That's a BARGAIN. we "topped off" my buddy's G23 on the river yesterday and gas was $5.50 a gallon and it took $220 without even blinking.

I'd disagree. It has an SA bow now. It was already a large bow, now it's massive. IMO gel patterns not changing much does make the new look close to the old, but I can assure you on the water they will certainly be noticeably different.

The local Knoxville shop was posting something about have a 'new 2019' boat next week. Not sure of the model.

The new SE is an SA nose on a lengthened SL hull. Should be a monster! I’m keeping my options open with Rinkers on one! Lol
I heard you can get toggle switches as a back up, but they’re gonna charge a pretty good amount for them.

The screens are cool for sure, but not a game changer, I do like the gages and toggles too.

The previous gen helm styling is more aggressive in my opinion.

The passenger side screen is a nice upgrade.

I agree, I like my SA set up better. I get enough glass cockpit at work. But, that’s where this is all headed, nothing we can do about it. Lol
My wife saw the SE before I did, she says she’s sold! Guess there’s an SA for sale... hope they bring one to the jam so I can play in person before I sell anything. I’d like to try that chill-tec to see if it’ll open up color options too.
