I like the no-chrome look especially for off road rigs. Something about chrome and big wheels/skinny tires that turns me off. Good looking rig there Clarkely.

Must be nice to have the expendable income for a "real truck"

Lol.... Was going to say don't throw stones In glass houses.... But I don't know personalities well enough yet....
I think it's safe to say that most in this board are very fortunate as we have income to spend on extra things..... Like a boat... Some have may have a little or a lot more than others... I don't know... I personally an thankful for what I have...
I also do most of my work to my "things" myself..... Whether on homes... Trucks.... Boats.... Snowmobiles.... I enjoy working on them.... They end up being nice and cool.... And it's therapeutic to work stress... And I teach my kids mechanically and how u work for stuff...
Off my shop box ;)
Some people spend a lot of money to be broke. Lots of different kinds of barely making it.
My real truck comment was just stirring the pot :)
I like the color match look clarkley. I still would like to do mine.
I hear ya... There's a lot of folk that have a lot of stuff.... Yet they own nothing....
No worries from me.... I enjoy a little pot stirring ;)
Yay they aren't blurry!
I do like the ecoboosts we need to replace the wife's suburban 2500 and we are not sold on a new suburban ...... She likes a murdered out Dodge or a raptor...... Or a eco boost..... Shocking them all out next week at the car show...
Too bad no raptors for a couple more years. Unless you buy a '14. But here comes the Eco-Raptor!

I had a 2500 'burb that I replaced with my F150.
I saw a brand new 2015 F150 at the local car wash the other day while I was getting my truck washed. I think they look really good but I'm not a fan of that sticker they had in the window!!

Crazy, that's more than my fully loaded diesel.
More than I paid for these two combined ..... guess they aren't very new, though. Updated pic with the M/T's (not that you can really tell)

Apparently I won't be buying a new truck anytime soon... Or ever if that's the way prices keep going.
My 2014 F150 was $30K but it didn't have the Ecoboost or aluminum stuff. That is what good gas mileage gets ya.
That F150 is also the King Ranch, so it is Fully Loaded. My FX4 was stickered at 54K in 13. Just like my boat was stickered at 73K in 13. Doesn't mean I paid anywhere near those prices.
A Fully loaded F350 King Ranch will run you in the 70s now. Trust me I watch them lol.
You can easily have a New truck in the lower 40s with Eco and plenty of options.
Back to that 14, its actually not even the most expensive version, there is still the 6.5 bed option, add another 1K for that.
And it only had the 5.0 V8. It wasn't an Ecoboost either. It did have the cameras all around and the mirror and bed spot lights ect. It was beautiful

They are great looking trucks, but year this new Aluminum body has sent the price sky rocketing. Not that they haven't been expensive for a while.
Even on 06 when I got my 06 4x4 Super Cab XLT it was stickered at 40 and was considered mid line.
I bet i could build an F150 online for close to 70K if you selected all the options LOL.
I know I build a RAM 3500 FOR 71k lol.
Yup I figure if I ever upgrade to a F350 the next generation loaded up will sticker around 80k! Especially if it goes aluminum body.
Uh, PIMPIN! Uh, yeah.....

That's insane, at this rate, I'll have my 2012 crewmax for 15 more years..... that's quite the inflation over the last few years, similar to boat prices recently.
As long as manufacturers keep offering 7+ year auto loans to keep payments down prices will continue to rise.

Well, my Suburban all terrain mountain climbing people hauling city pimpin ride share limo substitute camp all super haul boat pull trail boss ramp dog ba donky donk is 14 years old now and going strong. Would be 50k to get a new one. I'll just bide my time.
50k plus.... Looked at one that snickered close to 70k
Quick update. Time for a new family truckster - aka tow vehicle. Mama was tired of the pimpin Chrysler 300 so it went away today.
Drove this one home to takes it's place but it will be a real tight fit in the garage.

So we're set for summer and "other things" coming - truck can haul the condo on wheels, the Lincoln should handle the boat no prob.
Speaking of 70k! Nice! Ecoboost?
It was an excellent time in 2009 to buy the big vehicles with the economy crash. I bought a Winnebago Class A for half the NADA and a two year old Jeep Wrangler for $14,900. I basically went buying not to put a little bit of money in their pocket but only to reduce their inventory which was bigger problem for dealers. It helped that gas guzzlers were getting a bad rap back then. With gas prices and the economy coming back, big vehicles go for a premium again.
Ha - no, definitely no Eco. This one is a 'new to us' 2007.
I don't want to see the sticker on a new one of these suckers...
Haha! Nice
Not sure how tight of a fit you are working with. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...088138b90e.jpgWe had a tight fit with the Suburban in the 3rd garage stall when we were OR. This parking mat kept us off the front wall and far enough in so the garage door never came down on the bumper.
Nice Ride Berg!
Very nice Berg! I love the interior of the Navigator.
Thnx - we're pretty happy with it so far. Black on black throughout - should be nice and toasty this summer. Well at least for the kids - the front has climate controlled seats which will be cool. (har dee har har ) Thought all the chrome was going to feel a little too "blingy" but so far not bad I guess.
As of now we have maybe 1/2" of clearance front to back... But there is a row of cabinets at the front of the garage. After those are relocated elsewhere then we'll have at least a foot to work with. I definitely need some sort of marker/stopper though.
