I tried to use it in my moms f150 and didnt realize you have to put stickers on thebtrailer and program some stuff to get it workin. Oh well I can back a trailer just fine the old fashioned way.

The 1st Gen uses the trailer stickers, 2nd Gen uses a sensor that attaches to trailer.

Although I have heard 2nd Gen can now do the stickers as an option. The yaw sensor kits are $300 per trailer.

From what I gather it was based on build dates which got them. Supply chain and all that. I don’t mind the sticker as it was a breeze to setup plus if you have multiple trailers you’re set.
