Frozen water is now done for the season. Lakes are filling up nicely and temps are slowly creeping up.

Got my first taste of spring skiing with a dry suit a neighbor sold to me. Not sure on the water temp, but area rivers are in the 55 deg range. This lake is probably still closer to 40 given the ice went out only a few weeks ago. Air temp around 52. Also finally upgraded my ski. Went from a late 80's O'Brien LaPoint Mirage to a 2001 HO ASX Carbon with double Animal bindings. I didn't push it too much for my first time out, but I was amazed at the difference between the two.

Did a little surfing for the first time this season and got to try out the new boat board, a 2016 marsh mellow blem. Also got my gf out of the water on her first try at any sort of board sport, she loved it!
