No I don’t have it in a spread sheet. I did the measurements with the bag full. The bag is 1-2” below the rear tray, however there is a 1.5” lip that the bins sit in. The tray is 10” deep so that’s why I am thinking you will only get 9” before you hit the bottom lip. Could you get another 2”, likely however it wouldnt be the full 20” wide and I would be afraid of it rubbing through the bag on the lip.

We have 16 hours now. 500# of lead and 950# of people made an amazing wave today.

I reset the gauges as it was -.9 pitch and -3.4 roll while empty sitting on the water when it should have been 0/0. When I reset it the wave looked much better when I was hitting 9 pitch and -2 to -3 roll. It let my wife drop the rope now.

So I am out on the water ans brought a tape measure to double check. I was wrong. You can get 15” easy. So that would be 400# a side. I’m going to try to get other bags to put back here.

Here is a link to some short vids/pics I made showing pinch points and available space left on top (assuming you don't use bins). I don't quite understand why they made pinch/abrasion points for ballast bags like this. I would have expected smoother transitions between compartments.

I am going to try calling Wakemakers again tomorrow and see whether they've made any progress on scanning a 2021 Mojo. Ideally, I would get a bag made that in addition to filling up that 15" bin space, would also have a second leg that would fill in under the mid ship seating. 90% of our boat time is surfing so, if they can't make that, then I'll just grab new bags that will be permanently filled (for both mid ship and bow). Maybe plumb them in proper as a winter project. Hoping to keep my lead weight as minimal as possible (#500 or less).

Also noticed that the 2021 Mojo user manual states that the weight of fuel is accounted for in the boat weight already...we don't need to factor it in, (for my 2005 LSV it was excluded from boat weight). So that allows another #400 ballast to be added in.

Played around with the fat sacs a bit tonight, and got the surd dialed in. Can’t figure out how to post a video, but i got it cleaned up after messing with the settings.

I know this setup isn’t ideal for everyone, but when its me and my girlfriend going for a quick surf at night its perfect.

That looks awesome. 750 sac in the middle and 2 400s? That’s about right weight wise. What was your pitch and roll?

Why does the boat look like it is listed so much? What were your pitch and roll numbers? The beauty of the new Moombas and Supras is that you don't have to list the boat to produce a great wave. Maybe it is how the pictures were taken but it looks like you have that boat listed way over on the surf side.

Did you say surf at night? Can you do that there?

This is something I noticed as well - we only had 1 driver (180 lbs) and 1 child (70 lbs) and me (170 lbs) surfing. Only stock ballast (4000 lbs). We recalibrated the inclinometer and did about 2 hours of testing using autowake by itself and then contrasting that to manually filling the bags to 100%, having autowake off and just adjusting the plates manually. The "autowake on" wave was glorious, perfect face, a beauty to behold but it hardly had any push and was, for all intents, unsurfable. It also drained bow bag to 50% and non-surf side bag to 75% to achieve its pitch/roll numbers. The autowake off, all bags forced to 100% wave, had good push and I would say was very similar to my old 2005 LSV wave in many respects, totally surfable but no where near as clean.

It's said almost daily on this forum, "Moomba's need more weight" but I gotta say, I thought it would be easier to ride autowake stock with such a light crew.


Just some initial impressions. I've watched the 3 vid's on it from Moomba and read all of the stuff that Goose posted on it but like I said - beginner Autowake guy at the helm here, still learning the system.

(Protip - stuff the boat cover in between the v-drive hatch and back seat to add some cheap sound dampening!)

Just grab a tape measure and measure the space you want the bag to fit into. No need to wait for wakemakers to scan one (they probably use a tape measure too).
There are also cheaper options for custom bags from flyhigh.
