This just caught my eye... I was going to say I was "loading up the ballast" but then my son sitting there caught my eye.
And grandma and her boyfriend giving him a pretty hard look.
And as I look closer myself I see a can of Budweiser in his hand. I recognize the patriotic design on it from the 4th of July.

If you recall this was the kid who out of the blue playing ping pong with me one day goes "best 2 out of 3, winner gets a Bud Light" when he was about 7.
Hmmmmmm
Awesome! Honey, get the house listed; we're moving!
What he said.
Idaho it is.
I'll admit - cracked up right there!

Well, they only shut down "non-essential" government services. So all of that will go on without interruption.
you took the words right out of my mouth!
I like how they shut down border patrol agents and stuff because keeping the population safe is not essential. They need to shut down the secret service because keeping Obama safe is not essential to me. I don't care if he dies, doesn't effect me.
Ok, now it's getting CRITICAL! Time to take action

What deep thinkers men are... I mowed the lawn today, and after doing so I sat down and had a cold beer. The day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking.
My wife walked by and asked me what I was doing and I said 'nothing'. The reason I said that instead of saying 'just thinking' is because she would have said 'about what'. At that point I would have to explain that men are deep thinkers about various topics which would lead to other questions.
Finally I thought about an age old question: Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts? Women always maintain that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts.
Well, after another beer, and some heavy deductive thinking, I have come up with the answer to that question. Getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than having a baby; and here is the reason for my conclusion. A year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, "It might be nice to have another child." On the other hand, you never hear a guy say, "You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts." I rest my case.
Time for another beer.

Awesome KG! The little girl at the end - too funny!
Reminds me long ago of one of my daughters after Christmas, driving home from Grandmas house. We were talking about how cute it is when the kids mimic you when they're playing. Right then and there this sweet little voice from the back seat playing with her new Barbie tells the dolly that she better clean her room or she was going to beat her a$$ ! We about drove off the road laughing.
That's pretty funny
Acting out . . .

Ain't that the truth.
We had a lockdown at my daughter's middle school - you guys may have seen come across the news last week. 11yr old brought a 22, 400 rounds and a knife to school. His mom notified the school that something was up and he was taken into custody without incident THANK GOD.
A week later a mom with her kid wasn't using the cross walk at my son's elementary school and so the kids reported her to the office. After repeated days of this the office confronted her about it and she went wacko. Apparently she pushed/knocked the safety patrol teacher to the ground and was screaming at her that she couldn't tell her what to do. The principal came out and she went after her as well, took a swing and was going for a choke hold. I guess someone hit the panic button and Harold the school custodian jumped into action. Ran in and grabbed the lady and pinned her to the ground along with another male teacher until the sheriff arrived.
(I, and the kids, love Harold - he's a big bald guy, long beard, rides a Harley. Awesome. You wouldn't mess with him if given the choice.)
I can't believe the stuff going on with schools anymore. And now it's been getting close, too close, to home...
This is pretty funny. A little elaborate but came off pretty well.
