I have a 36 can AO cooler too. Fits great under the passenger side long seat. Just the right height.

How does the AO cooler do on holding ice? We bought a titan cooler from amazon cause my wife said it had a million 5 star reviews but im not real impressed with how well it holds ice. We keep our cooler in the spot behind the observer seat backrest.
We use a Yeti M30 soft cooler. Holds ice all day and ours sits behind the drivers seat nicely. I also have a 3 gallon bucket (think cat litter) that I cut a hole in the lid and use it as a trash can. My 2015 doesn't have hidden places for those so I have to improvise over putting empties in the cooler.
Our AO does pretty good. But it is under the seat out of the sun. It has decent insulation, but is no Yeti Softside.

AO will hold ice fine for a full day on the lake.

^^^This. Plenty of ice left in the AO when we unload in the evening.
Cooler ratings are actually absurd.
Unless you are living off the grid, who needs ice for 7 days?
Camping sure, but yeti is a bit overkill for any normal application and once you open them, the ratings drop fast.
Love the AO’s but still pricey, only reason I have them is they came with Supras. A hard igloo marine 56 can and a soft AO carbon 38 can, we use the AO95% of the time

I have a yeti 45 if I need it but it has to sit in the bow walkway, wife just wants something that can hold ice a bit longer. 2 bags worth yesterday seemed to melt pretty quick.
