Just got back from a week at Prineville Reservoir State Park. Our home for the week was this gem of a cabin up on the hill:

and our view of the lake was pretty amazing:

The wife really started carving it up. And by the end of the week, she had me swap out the Futures F3 fins that came with her Doomswell sparkplug for the smaller F2 fins that came with my Nubstep (because I'm now using the John John Grom fins).

Every morning we were treated to beautiful glass. Water was 65 in the morning and climbed over 70 by mid-day. http://i1070.photobucket.com/albums/...pskuftes8y.jpg
Another shot of the cabin.

A few minutes walk down a steep trail and we were at the boat slips

And on the water early every morning to get this all to myself... Slalom and Wakeboard until I couldn't hang onto the handle anymore.

Okay, I shared the water with my wife and son, and even had some friends of ours come join us for a couple nights at the campground.

Friday was perfect water!! Smoothest day of the year for us so far. It was super hot but well worth to see my 6 year old work on her wakeboard skills. She amazes me that she pops up every time now!

The new Helix and is ready to go and broke in! Had a new crew out on it this weekend after the PWT event and everybody was very impressed with the boat. I love the question "is this really a 20.5 foot boat?" Full ballast (2100) and 5 adults the Helix had zero problem getting up to speed without using the Moomba Launch. Wake was nice but still going to bring some weight and mess with it a little. Out of the box every trick from the riders was thrown and landed. Long transition up the wake and a little lip but will try to make it a little more lippy with different weight. My boy had the set of his life and was taking his straight HS airs way into the flats which he has never done before.

Got to go out yesterday for he first time with the kids this season. It's been a weird year. On the plus side I got to pull the boat with my newest toy! So glad I don't have to back that boat with a mega cab anymore! With a 24' boat, trailer and a mega cab I was just short of the length of a semi trailer!

The life of mom... never in the pictures!
This is my nephew, only been surfing for a few weeks. I was working with him on his feet placement, but threw him a curve ball by giving him my Happy Pill to ride. We switched boards after this set and he was fine. Same issue my wife is having, trying to get the front foot moved once up. Still struggling with the wave, but think we have it much more closer after three days straight on the water.
Finally have a contribution to make. Been a weird year for us too with moving, cold/high water, etc.
Ready for the maiden voyage.

That big white thing on the horizon is why our water is so damn cold still. Air 95, water was 60-ish.

Nice to see these two not glued to their phones or trying to kill each other for a change.

The parks were so full that we ended up at a ramp we have never launched from - primarily because the water is always too low. But it was the only one not full so we kind of hustled in and hustled out and were fighting the wind to get loaded. Afterwards I thought the trailer tire seemed a little low but it checked out ok and then the Navigator was working a little harder on the way home. Hmmm...
Nothing like bringing 7-800lbs of lake water home with you. One of those days...

I believe that makes you the first person ever to forget drain some of, or all the ballast before Loading up! I believe a prize is in order! Lol
It's always fun to turn my boat off once it's hooked to the trailer and look down and realize my foot hit one of the ballast pump switches. They're in a terrible location
Yea, not the first and probably not the last.
Many years back my buddy bought his first Malibu and after the wet test was all excited to bring it home and swung by our place to show it off on his way. He was pretty worried that his SUV wouldn't be able to handle it since it was huffing and puffing pretty hard the whole way and the back end was dragging. Was thinking he may need to get a weight distribution hitch, some air bags, etc.
Then we hopped in and started playing with all the buttons and switches and drained the 2200lbs of ballast he hauled home with him...
Lol. What a dufus

I must be one of the few that ALWAYS checks to see if my bags have drained on the way back to my dock

The depth guage said 2.5 feet, I went out a tad further to 3. I made sure to drain my ballast every time I came back to shore.

I love the boat, fit and finish is above and beyond. Still having issues with our surf wave, the best wave I had all weekend was everything full except non-surf side rear at about 30%. Smart plate was at 50, Wakeland system was on 2 or 3, more or less washed out the wave.
My brother showed up with a 2012 MB Tomcat 21, out of the box his surf wave was far superior than mine.
I am open to any and all suggestions, but would really like to hear from those with the same boat. I know this is a Moomba forum and I'm asking for Supra advice.
maybe on your next outing try filling the none surf side to 80% move the smart plate to 25, and set the wakeland on the least amount deployed and adjust it slowly until the wave cleans up , keep your speed in the high 10s until you see improvement , not sure what your ballasts are , that will play a factor, along with people in the boat , but that should get a little closer to cleaning it up. with our craz I notice while I was surfing my wave was starting to wash out really bad and got real crappy , hopped in the boat and the non surfside was accidentally draining and went down to 30% and the wave sucked. we 100% port and bow , 90% starboard , surf tab 50-65 % and smartplate at 11 , and cruise at 10.8 . hope it helps , good looking boat
Finally getting back on the water. The little guy is doing the best he can with the DD wake. I def think it's time to start looking for something a little better.

Also taught another buddy of his to ride. That's 9 Wakeboards we've gotten started in the last year.

Great to see some pics of the kids getting into it. Future of the sport.
The B-RAD board... NICE!
The 2013 SA is a great wakeboard hull but, unfortunately, not a very good wakesurf hull. I was lucky enough to be at the 2013 dealer meeting for the "Shock & Awe" release & I may have been the only person in the room to ask about the surf wave. Crickets were all I heard.
Your brother's boat was designed to surf and has a marginal, at best, wakeboard wake.
Consider yourself lucky - you can use your boat for wakeboarding & his for surfing & you both keep hours in check.
Had a great night behind the CRAZ. Until we hit something on the way home and now I'm shopping for a new prop...https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b13f532bfb.jpg

two surfboards, a kids wakeboard and a wakeskate that you can't see!
I finally got out for the first time. The water was rather warm but the current was bad and a lot of green crap hanging on the anchor line. I'll be skiing next weekend.
