I laminated the anti slip to the miners moss. I found that PVC glue worked well. I soaked the anti slip with the PVC glue and then placed on the bottom side of the miners moss. I never tested it without the anti slip.Quote:

It has been exposed to sun, a little rain, temps up to 85, and even snow. We had a freak snow fall a few weeks ago.

Could you share a bit more about that anti-slip rubber backing? I can't find anything on Amazon that looks like that. Do you have a link, or a company name, or something?

I would suggest going to Lowes or Home Depot so you can confirm it is rubberized and not a "foamy" material. The material that I used is a bit "foamy" and I would have preferred to use something more rubberized.
Normally located near the carpet section or sometimes in the kitchen cabinetry area sold as drawer liner.
I laminated it to the Miner's Moss by wetting the antislip with PVC glue and then placing it on the Miner's Moss as to not clog the openings in the Miners Moss.

So, I'm curious what it looks like under the carpet on the XLV. I measured tonight and the total area is just a hair bigger than a 4x8 sheet of plywood. I'm wondering where the seams are. I would think that there'd be a small piece where it'd be a few inches shy of covering the "underseat cooler" Port section. But maybe not? And likewise another little extra piece in front of the driver's seat. I'm curious if or where the piece that covers the gas tank is seamed.
Next time you yank your miner's moss out, can you take some detailed pics so I can see where the seams might be.

it definitely looks like your floor is one contiguous piece from in front of the basement storage opening, all the way to the section that extends in front of the driver's seat. I know for certain that I have two levels of flooring. The spot where the driver's feet go is a couple inches lower than the rest of the floor. So basically at the place where the curve of the seat base ends just below the capacity sticker and the gray horizontal floor trim meets the gray vertical trim that go up towards the helm. At that point, my "subfloor" stops and the driver's feet are recessed a little.

I guess I'm trying to get a handle on how much flooring I'd have to get to do a project like yours (but probably in hydroturf). I think seeing your bare floor is going to give me about the best idea of what the XLV looks like under the carpet. (aside from the fact that I have a sunken section for the driver's feet and it appears that you don't.)
Or maybe a better way to ask would be: Is the one obvious seam that goes from the back of your driver's seat to your hot tubes the ONLY seam? is the floor really just two pieces in between the seat bases?

For you Trayson. My ugly floor underneath the miner's moss.
