^ I cant stand scammers. So many fake ads on CL.
This was the boat that made me dislike Moomba when they first came out. I remember criticizing them a lot back in the day. And Ironically, I'm a proud Moomba owner now. Go figure.

^^ That boat right there is the one you want if you are a slalom junkie!!!
Nothing wrong with a boomerang at all unless you want to surf behind it :)
I was a snobby tournament boat junkie. Even though the boat that I rode behind wasn't big 3, it was an MB Sports Boss 200 and had a lot more fit and finish than the outbacks of that generation. I just viewed that genre of boat as SO stripped that it appeared cheap to me. I'm sure it performed fine, but I felt like it was too stripped down.
And Ironically, I'm a diehard Moomba fanboy now.
funny you bring it up, I grew up skiing an old Stars and Stripes MC. When I first saw the bommerang I was thinking what in the world. Had a chance to ski behind one and quickly changed my mind, it was better than the MC. Was built with a single purpose and did that very well. now I no longer slalom so doesn't matter much. I was sold on Moomba ever since and that was late 90's.
I would think that that boomerang hold its resale value just as good as any other boat out there.I would love to know the sticker price of that boomerang back in 1996 I dont think it would be much over 7 thousand
