Towels show up?
Delivery is coming today. I'm going to try and package everything up in black heavy duty trash bags and make me water tight.
Still trying to figure out the best way to ship. Debating on everyone just getting their own label (once I give the weight of each package) & then you can get the label and email to me. I'll slap it on & ship or I can just do it and send everyone a PayPal for shipping.
Either way not looking forward to it lol

I'm gonna be out of country the next two weeks, so paypal will work for me for shipment. I don't care if it's the slowest mail, just the cheapest.
And yes, you're gonna be banging your head on the wall getting all those out. Lol

Going to be a lot easier on you if we do our own work and send it to you.
USPS pre-priced package and Paypal.
I say flat rate USPS priority boxes.

Poly mailers + labels on Amazon, then PayPal for the shipping. Fast, easy & cheap.
Comes out to about $0.15/parcel in supplies
I say you do whatever is easiest for you brett. I'm sure this whole thing has been a bit of a headache already, and the tough part is still to come.
My vote is usps boxes I think they have a flat shipping rate just figure out how many will fit in each box then everyone can PayPal you and you ship.

Us providing shipping labels will certainly make things a little easier for Brent. He would be able to come up with standardized weights for each quantity of towels. Then he can let us know the 1 address he'll ship from. sure a lot easier than him having to compute everyone's cost (because it'll be different fro every person except USPS flat rate--And even the USPS flat rate would vary depending on how many towels a person bought which would dictate the size of box needed).
I think the only "compromise" would be that Brett offers two offers:
- USPS flat rate boxes (size obviously depends on the volume of the towels)
- You send him a label from the shipper of your choice.
That said, for those that are thinking of the USPS flat rate boxes, consider that the volume of the towels is going to be a lot relative to their weight. The USPS flat rate boxes might actually be more expensive than having it sent first class mail or via UPS/FED-Ex. So you might be actually costing yourself more by going flat rate on a lighter bigger item like towels.
Brett, you already know i'll be getting you a fedex label. I'm just throwing out some insight for everyone else.
The FedEx thing will take some time as I don't know how to get a label when the package isn't available.
Create an account on fedex.com
Click "create a shipment"
Fill in all the info (to/from/dimensions/weight/shippingmethod)
Enter payment info
At the end, it'll give you the option to print a label. Either print it to a PDF or when it displays on your screen, simply do a "print screen" (control/printscreen) and then paste that into an email to Brett.
You lost me at create an account.
USPS mailer for me with a PayPal payment. That method is bound to fail somewhere with the number of people involved, variables like package size, package weight, a so called shipping method and then have Brett get shipping packages and then ship them. That method hasn't changed since the 1970s except getting the shipping label which I could do going to a FEDEX store a mile away and get one of theirs.
Let me know what you want me to do.

Ditto...⬆️⬆️
Just letting you all know I hate you. My wife doesn't like you either lol. I'm going to get a weight for 1 towel, 2 towel, 3 towel etc. post my address and you can email me a shipping label from either usps, FedEx or UPS. [emoji1303]

For those doing two towels, please send me the information you used to get the package sent to you. I am new to this or haven't used this method since the 70s so I don't have a clue how this works. Bret, I assume you are providing boxes?
I am providing trash bags & packing tape. I really misjudged how much packing tape I would need. I bought 40 yards, used 20 yards on 5 orders. Have 45 more orders lol

Looks good, kudos to you for all the hard work! Makes me wish this didn't slip my mind and I got a few ordered for me. Oh wells...guess I'll just have to rock my TMC towels on the Moomba, LOL.
Sounds good

It may just be my area, but something shipped in a garbage bag is essentially guaranteed to arrived damaged. I'm not trying to make more work for you but I'd rather sort this out now, rather than deal with damaged goods.
I'm not just tiring it in a knot and shipping them. They will be heavily taped and packaged. No one has complained on the MB Forum. That's how he shipped their towels to. Buying 50 boxes gets expensive and time consuming. I'll make sure I tape yours up real nice [emoji6]

I figured dropping into a box would be much less time consuming than creating packaging.
But we are taking ideas from MB owners, which shows a pattern of poor decision making, so no surprise :o :o :p
Are you going to get pricing from USPS, Fed Ex, and USPS? I think each are a different pricing structure. Likely will need dimensions and weight for the different order sizes.
Like I said, maybe it's my area. These are a gift so want them to arrive nice and clean. I'm not going to argue with you but I don't like the idea.
Flat rate USPS boxes are free....right?

The pros say USPS and the pros say good packaging. Anything else is BS from amateur shippers.
