Well, I approach my trailer in gear (dunked to an inch or two over the fenders); or alternating bumping gear and neutral. I coast in between the trailer guides and make sure that my keel settles in the center of the bunks, with the tip of the boat a couple feet from the bow roller. Then yes, I put it back in gear and throttle up enough to get the boat to drive most of the way up the bow roller. when I get to a point where there's a bit too much resistance for it to climb the rest of the way up, I lay on the tip of the bow and clip the strap and crank the final 4 to 8" until the loop is snug to the roller.
Never had any real problems.
Yes! Or use some Gorilla Glue Gel, it seems to hold really well.
You would think they would make rings specifically for the application or something .......

I am not sure how we ended up with all 5 girls!! The wives pulled a slick one on us. It was all good though! One of the pics you can several girls in the bow playing barbies waiting their turn. You know it was a great day when your baby girl tells you right before falling asleep that she had a great day!!

Worked from home a couple of hours this morning. Had some emails to catch up on. 🙂The water was awesome and never saw another boat in my cove!

Haha Dusty. Here's some more clicks of the new ride. Will post some more pics once I make switch to moomba letters in black and remove rear mojo and moomba letters. Dusty did a great job on the install in a very short period of time.

It's going to look great with the blacked out Moomba.
Are you going to tint the windshield?
Had a fun weekend with some friends. Rented 2 town homes with side by side RV garages. Flew the BlueLivesMatter flag like a boss!

I think it would look outstanding. Doesn't Dusty have a hook-up for you?
I offered to handle it when I had it, but my guy requires the glass off the boat. He will come around eventually, just wasn't ready for that step yet!
And I agree, the tint would really finish it off!
AR has a guy ;) Just 30 min from Lake Ouachita.
If I can get my wife on board, there is a shop literally across the 2 lane road from where I store my boat that would probably do it.
Just another day to this happy dog.

Boat ready to go out, look at all that glass on a Thursday evening.

I have been harassed nonstop by my 7 year old daughter Emma to "hurry up and learn to surf so I can go too" ever since getting the new boat. So today was the day. She loved it and we went rope less for quite some time before she wanted to fall into the wave. As soon as we got back into the boat she asked me "can you buy me a board?"
And here we go...

This weekend we were recruited to bring our boat for a houseboat retreat with the Young Adults group at our Church. It was a pretty cool experience.
Our trip down started a little rough. I'd just passed a really slow car on a dashed straight away, and was met by the tribal police as I was coasting back down to my post passing speed. He didn't see eye to eye with me, but just gave me a warning (70+ in a 55 zone that everyone does 65 to 75 on).

We were welcomed with a rad sunset over Mt Jefferson.

This was our home for the weekend. The middle "barge" was awesome. it had fold out floating docks, anchors that lowered at the press of a button and a bunch of shade. it was a great central location between the houseboats.

Since I started tying up on the outside of the dock for ease of access during the day.
When inside the dock right now I use the Exile because I have 4 points to tie up.
On the outside I have no protection from waves in the cove, with the boat and dock moving, I wanted more protection then the smaller Exile balls can provide.
haha. you know I couldn't resist messing with ya!
Although seriously, too bad you didn't get the jumbo exile ball I ended up with. You can imagine my surprise when I inflated a new one only to find this:

I was a little worried about being on the boat at least for the next 1/10th of an hour. It all went well.

Utah waters are starting to slow down with traffic. We got 70 deg. water and mid 80's for air and it was perfect. Hit just 11 hours on the Craz and got a little surf set in.

Nice mountains...
Looks like the twin peaks are looking good this time of year...
