The one weekend that I did not have my go pro I got tossed sideways coming down the trail and locked up with a tree. Oh well at least my first reaction was to take a picture. :)

I am glad I found this thread. I love boats BUT motorcycles I love more.
I have owned a few. Here is a few pictures of the one I just sold for my new to me bike and my wife's bike which is for sale.
2006 Yamaha R1 I bought her brand new in '06 she was a great bike. I traded for a '05 Honda CBR 600RR

After tweaking the suspension she wanted me to take it out to see how it felt. This bike handles like a dream.

I don't know that anything is more fun to ride then a 2-Stroke dirt bike.
Watch this. This is my buddy (2 stroke) who makes the most realistic 2 stoke sounds I have ever heard.

I would so ride that bike, but probably get laughed at here :) nothing but vtwins everywhere. makes sense as NONE of the roads around here have a curve in them. I sure miss the curvy mountain roads at home. absolutely amazing how many here wear full leathers and a dewrag. helmets are a rarity and pass any bar on a saturday/sunday and there will be at least a dozen harleys in front. amazed not more dui's/wrecks.
I've been contemplating selling my '09 zx6 for something along the lines of a vstrom or gs1200 adventure. better commuter and would be fun to take a few weekend trips on.
ceo just got a license this summer and is currently learning on a '12 250ninja. hoping to see a 650ninja in the future.
Well, you're near the HD capital of the world. Like being in the south with the moonshine or in Texas with the steers and . . .
Makes me laugh everytime.

I road that bike on the street right after we had the wheels powder coated and had quite a few people point and laugh. Doesn't bother me. That bike is a rocket ship. So smooth and fast. I should have kept it for myself. Sold it to some kid in Kentucky. I was sad to see it go.
Here the first bike i sold after the 1st kid

Just now saw this, sorry.
I put the Virago build on hold when I crashed my Duc. Now that the Duc is rebuilt I'll slowly start getting back into the Virago. I quickly spent a lot of money getting the Monster back on the road so right now spending money on bike parts is hard to swallow.
Snow, rain, mud, some sun and a wipe out. Outside of Cle Elum Washington.
I had a friend over a couple weekends ago and he has a GoPro. Here's a vid of my track and trail set-up in my backyard, litterally. It needs some work, esp. the jumps and corners, but it is getting there.

Here is my newest track bike. Picked it up last week. Going to Barber Motorsports complex this weekend to try her out.
2006 R6 996 miles, race tech forks, ohlins stearing stabilizer, 520 chain and sprockets, vortex rear sets and clip ons, bazzaz auto tuner, quickshifter and some other stuff I can't remember

Barber is a great track, only ridden it once but was will worth the 12+ drive to get there..

Never made it to VIR, gratten is my favorite, lots of blind off camber down or up hill turns.. Terrifying..

I am going to try to hit gratten next year haven't been there yet either. VIR is awesome a lot of elevation changes and blind turns as well. If you haven't been to Jennings that is one of my favorites. No elevation changes or blind turns but a fun fun track.
Grattan is a really fun and challenging track: "Some competitors claim that Grattan was designed by an individual who had a clear understanding of the limits of racing cars and a pathological hatred of racing car drivers"...

That sounds like a blast. I will make it there very soon.
Who do you do trackdays with? Just open days at the track or with an organization like NESBA?
I haven't been on a bike in a long time, maybe 8 years(?!?)..
I rode mostly with with Nesba and STT..
Nesba had a great crew and lots of tracks available in the Midwest region then it went belly up and closed...What about Putnam, that's a great track, Turn one is crazy fast if you can handle it... :)
NESBA is still around. Actually riding with them at Barber this weekend. Looks like you should dust the cob webs off next season and get out there. I have a CBR600RR track bike for sale. Just sayin. haha
I haven't been to putnam yet, although it's only an hour away from me. Irish Racing makes a schedule of what days we are going to attend and since you can't camp there a lot of guys don't like messing with hotels and crap so I am going to push for it next season.
Just got back from Barber Motorsports Complex.... wow! such an awesome track. Smooth and fast. Dane Westby was there playing around. Got to meet him and hangout. That was cool. Super nice down to earth guy.
I know I have posted my Harley on this thread already... but I have done a few things... Most recently is added bags!!! Have a lookie.

You guys have a legit program going!
NESBA is a great organization to ride with. I was tired of sleeping on air mattresses in small enclosed trailers so I bought the toy hauler. Best decision ever.

i cleaned mine up good at the 36k service and added some LED's afterdoing the valve adjustment.
some crappy cell-phone pics I can share. not sure if you've ever tried, but not an easy thing to get a pic of anyways...
They're bright enough to light up trees on the side of the road at night. I feel like I"m riding the white bikes in TRON. lol.

I love FZ-1's! So much fun. My buddy has one that he put Renthal bars on and got rid of the windscreen and changed out the head lights. It is awesome. Great looking bike RC!
