Just threw up a new vlog, came back from mid day surfing to find a whole swarm of people around our camp and a killer slip and slide! All around good times at the lake.
thanks for watching!

Sort of boat related as it will be its future home..
Now that lumber has come down we are moving forward on our garage. Pouring concrete tomorrow. Had to bring in a lot of gravel!
Garage will be 36’x50’ with 12’ side walls, room in gable trusses, 12’ high rag rage doors…

Fun project!
I built my 40x70 pole barn a couple years ago. I use the front 40x30 for storage and door access and the back 40x40 is my shop. Need to build a mezzanine now to store the wife's hobby equipment. Best investment so far. So nice to have everything under cover and at home.
Nice looking pad. Got it elevated well.

Ahhhh.. the wide open spaces of wisconsin. I miss our home in Depere... nothing like jumping on the ZTR with beers in each cupholder and mowing some stripes into the lawn on a relaxing sunday afternoon..... until the mosquitoes hatch and it's too painful to be outside :)
haven't seen one of those flying around in 4 years now.
your property looks amazing and that shop will be a fun place to hang...
Awesome! Looks nice and big!
Awesome! That is a shit ton of gravel. Better make sure it is compacted really well to avoid settlement under the slab. I would get a vibratory roller on that. Sorry, I am a commercial construction guy. Residential guys drive me nuts sometimes when it comes to backfill.

Don't be silly....he has a skid steer. You just drive over it 20 times and call it good.
In all honesty, it looked to be virgin ground that was scraped and prepped. It is a lot of gravel and a good rain mixed with a roller or compactor would be helpful.
My concrete in my barn is 6" thick with mesh, rebar, and fiber blend 5000psi mix. I smoked 2 hammer drills trying to mount my 2 post car lift. I would throw down some 15mil vapor barrier before the pour to keep the ground from wicking through the slab.
