I had an opportunity to ride a Lakewakes Flying Saucer recently. I've put two sets on it and it's certainly one of my favorite skims to ride. I haven't ridden many skims though. Just this, a 4'10" ronix one skimmer, and a 4'4" ronix one carbon skimmer.
But The lakewakes was fast and light. definitely worth a look.

I think I'm going with the Phase 5 Model X 53", Will let you know how I like it.
