Ha ha. Norris can be an adventure for sure. I always try to map out my route and ask as many questions as I can regarding to route to the boat ramp and the house. I have found myself in precarious situations more than once down there. Once I had my ‘04 Chevy 5.3 floored in 1st gear and didn’t think I was going to make it up a hill to the house. Then the next day I found a much easier route around that road. [emoji30]. Roads can suck, but the lake is great. Back in the 90’s and early 2000’s it was way less crowded though. The north side is garbage on the weekend for any water sports after 10am.
I have friends that just made their vacation home their permanent home in Lone Mountain Shores. We were seriously thinking about investing there also. Having them know the area for the last 20yrs, they are looking to help us see what is available. The south side of Norris is so calm compared to the Powell area.Quote:
