Thanks for the verification, not sure I want to wash down my boat floor with lake water, but I could see if someone spilled a beer etc.
A 5 gallon clean water tank would be nice??

After having owned a Crownline with two washdown stations on it (it also had a sink on it too) that were fed from a 15 gallon fresh water storage tank, I dont think I would like going to a lake water fed system. I know not all lakes are created equal, but the lake I am on tends to have a lot of fine dirt always stirred up in it, so spraying that in the boat can leave a film. I could use the washdown in my old boat to clean the inside. I wouldn't do that with lake water. With all the storage space on the Supra, I would think a location for a fresh water storage tank could be found somewhere. It would be a really "supra" nice feature then.

I would prefer a dedicated reservoir tank to hold my own water. Not sure how it is around the nation but some lakes and temps there have been traces of listeria bacteria. You don’t want to willingly spray that water on food or drinks you’re ingesting as that is how you can get sick from it. Of course taking a rough spill or wipeout can also lead to ingesting lake water (been there lol). Either way I wonder how the pump is situated and if one could fab in a tank instead of pull from lake water. I’ve thought about adding misters to my tower with a very cheap and simple system but would of course use a tank with fresh drinking water each outing rather than toss a pump over the side like a tsunami ballast pump.
Here’s a good picture of the wash down hose attachment and second sub location Drew posted on FB.

There’s also this video by Marine Products that shows the hose too. BTW love this SV colorway! Real close to how I spec’s one out on the builder except went with dark graphite instead of black.

Has anyone been on a 2024 yet? What were your thoughts on the aesthetics of the tower speakers? I like the look of the housing, but not a big fan of the mesh grill. Just my opinion from pictures. Can't wait to see a 2024 in person.
Also, when will the SA get the bow seat back/wind screen? I would have probably gone SA over SL if that was available on the SA. The SE, SL, SV all have it. Will be nice when they redo the SA (2025?) and add that on.
Love the locker on the SV, that's really neat.
I've been on the 2024 SE. Per the tower speakers, it will probably take me some time to get used to. I was a big fan of the JL audio system, so the surround sound marketing of this did not really interest me in the first place. I get the fact that others are looking for the latest/greatest in audio components and other wake brands are upgrading these audio systems.
Did it sound good - yes. But so did the JLs on my SL - my only current issue was wanting more or better bass. I did not get to ride at wakeboard length and listen to the new system, but it was loud, and clear.
I’ve been on the 2024 but only inside the dealership. Have not been out on the water yet but will be doing so in a few weeks when they get their SV in. I like the look of the speakers, grill and all. I think they look better in person but I also understand not everyone will like them. I want to test out how Bubbles by Yosi Horikawa will sound on them since this new system is supposed to be all about surround sound and fidelity vs loudness. When I play Bubbles in my 2022 F150 with the 22 speakers the amount of surround is unreal! Hopefully that translates over in a open boat layout but we’ll see.
Currently have a weekend and 8 hours on our 24 se550. Was going to write a review on it but wanted to get a few more hours first. Stereo is immensely better than our 2022. The dash speakers and side tower speakers make all the difference. The actually tower speakers are much clearer at higher volumes as well. If you’re 6’2” or taller I believe you will be hitting your head if you’re not careful.
The bass is maybe 50% better than our sl was with the 2 Jl 12s. On our sl I added 2 additional 12s in boxes In the rear storage compartments. These were Rockford t1s powered by the largest wetsounds amp made. While the new boat doesn’t have as much bass as mine did with the extra 12s, I may not bother adding these in the new boat.
If you decide to write a review, can you post it on the facebook owner's group as well? Sounds like you have some good reference to review it against.
Planning to demo this SV tomorrow….

It’s not really my style for colorway but it is sharp for a battlecruiser look. I’d be building a custom spearmint and dark graphite if it were mine. We’ll see how she performs with the 400.

Hak....we all know how it goes. You demo it....wife loves the features....dealer makes you a deal on your Max.....new boat in the driveway next week.
All seriousness.....let us know how it goes, and have fun. I want to see those sweet videos you always make.
Haha that is usually how it goes but these interest rates are nuts right now but the market is cooling so maybe discounts can offset some.
GoPro is charging as I type and meeting them on the lake at 10am. I’ll report back after the demo with thoughts on the boat and of course a video or two later on today or tomorrow.
Just got finished with the demo. 2 things. I should have never demoed this boat and I shouldn’t have demoed a 4’6” Doomswell Falcon! Wave was unreal, audio was very impressive and the Falcon will be added to my quiver. Have a lot of video to go through and edit but I came away extremely impressed with the boat and I think Skiers a choice hit it out of the park with the SV. I never cared for the SC it replaced and I know not many people chose that boat but I can see this SV selling much better. I’ve ridden a 23 SL, 22 SA, and now the 24 SV and I can honestly say the SV put out a more powerful and firm wave than the SA or SV did! The wave midsection is so firm it is like concrete and it took all of my 225 lb fat ass to stand on my rear leg to drift back to the rear of the wave. The rear of the wave is not soft like I’ve felt on other boats which made recovering a breeze. I haven’t surfed in about a month and was sloppy making mistakes and I was surprised how easy it was to recover without much effort or pumping required. Just dig the edge and you were good. Hopefully the video comes out good and you guys get a good sense of the wave and what the boat can offer. We had 400 lbs of lead in the rear lockers since it was just 1 person driving the boat and we did not mess with much settings amd the boat just worked great! Would love to see what I could do with fine tuning the wave for a few hours but overall stock this boat would perform great out of the box, lead or no lead.
Saw the pics in the other thread.
No thrusters...at that size probably not needed but was hoping you could mess around with the "new version".
How was the swim platform extension? I love the concept but hate it is another powered thing that could fail. Wondering, is there is a bypass to manually lock it at home so you can still enjoy the day if a failure occurs?
Only time we used the swim platform step was when docked just checking it out. I would definitely use it if chilling in the cove though. I wished there were cup holders on the swim platform integrated with the grab handle cutout and I’m not sure a short person would be able to touch the swim step switches if their in the water but I do like the new option. You could always not option a boat with it and then add a traditional telescoping ladder if you’re worried about electronics and new tech. I totally get it and it is one more thing to worry about failing.
Here’s some 4K teaser footage while I edit the actual review video.

I wonder how the wakeboard wake is? I know a lot of Nautique owners state the G21 wake is actually a better wakeboard wake than the G21, a bit more vert. I wonder if the SV would be a little more narrow or verty, given the shorter length. Would be interesting to see. Great looking boat!
Great looking SV Hak, the mint is growing on me.
Regular wave needs some tuning to clean up the face, but looks strong for light crew and 400# lead.
SL and SV are cab forward traditional bow
SE and SE are cab rearward fork bow.
I am excited to see the Gen 4 SA next year.

Yea with a little time tuning the wave could definitely be improved but it is for sure strong with minimal setup. One strange thing we did encounter, and this may have been because we were on a river with current, but the wave going upstream created these “buckets” of water ripples that would form on the top of the wave and they would dump onto your ankles before the curl breaking out back. Imagine a conveyor belt of buckets of water. It was strange for sure! I’m not sure if that was just because of how we had the lead all rear biased, or going against the current, tab setting, or a combo of it all. Going downstream the wave was much more consistent and didn’t have those heavy water bucket ripples that would form. Kind of hard to explain but I’m editing a full length video that you will be able to see it happen.
Inside the cockpit it feels like a baby SL, and just a hair smaller feeling than an SA. Few inches in the bow and a few inches in the cockpit. Swim deck, surf locker and aft all feel the same size to me, aside from an SE maybe. I would have optioned for the flip-up backrests if this were my spec. I’m not sure thrusters would be required on this boat as it seemed to pivot nicely, but new HO thrusters would be a cool option to have if you wanted to splurge. The bigger the boat the more thrusters would be beneficial of course.
Trying to decide what to do with this video since I’m trying to let it flow natural with the conversations going over details about the boat. It’s like 18 minutes long now but I’m thinking of splitting it into two parts. One being interior, audio, etc and the other being just surf footage. Nobody likes to sit through long videos no matter how informative they may be lol. Really digging this boat though!
Interior and exterior/surf videos make since.

Hey guys, below is the SV video footage from the demo. I split it into 2 parts for the interior and audio and then the surf footage. No music or dubbed narration in this video. Just the raw conversations edited together to cover most of what people may want to know about the boat. I am still without a PC so I’m limited on my editing and have to do this through my phone these days lol.
I didn’t do a good job of showing the ”smartseat” feature but it is really cool. It automatically raises and lowers the seat for you based on bow attitude and possibly speed. It was changing on its own as I was just driving down the lake at various speeds and pitches. Really cool and between the power set presets, there really is no need to use the bolster now IMO. Wished I would have showcased that in the video.
The DSD audio is as advertised / hyped IMO. Very clear, very loud, and more importantly lots of surround sound. I couldn’t find a bad spot for music. The enclosed speakers really do offer a better tone and response versus just hanging in air. The way the sound projects from the dash and windshield was a nice fill. Subs were plenty strong for bass and I didn’t hear any rattles, unlike my Max dash does when the bass hits.
Interior space is very close to an SA in the cockpit area. A little shorter in the bow and main cockpit but doesn’t feel cramped at all. It feels bigger than 21’ 10”. I think you could fit 10 people plus all their gear comfortably.
400 engine felt strong at seal level. I’m not sure what prop was spec’d on this boat but it pulled hard out of the hole and plenty of midrange without ballast. When we filled it up for surfing we also had 400 lbs of lead in the rear lockers and the engine had no issues getting to surf speed. Granted it was only one person in the boat.
Swim step is cool but we did not use it since we weren’t chilling in a cove. I do think adding some lights to let you know when it’s fully deployed ir restricted would be ideal at the switch on the transom.
This boat didn’t have the new HO thrusters, so I was not able to play with them. Not sure it’s needed on this length of boat as it seemed to pivot fine and better than my Max.
This boat also didn’t have the flip up seats on the swim pad. I would definitely option a boat with those on my next build. The surf locker and swim pad area large and feel the same size as SA or SL. I couldn’t tell much of a difference there but maybe there is some slight dimension differences there.

Great stuff! Glad you liked it!
Yessir had a great time in it. My legs are still sore so that should tell you something!! :D
BTW I forgot to mention but we were on Lay Lake which isn’t deep, so expect the wave to be ever better in deeper water. I think on average we were in 22’ of water.
LOL! I am lucky if we are in water that deep most of the time!

@haknslash thanks for taking the time to share the videos. Back end recovery looks almost effortless on that wave, I need to figure out how to get there on my Mojo. Do you recall your pitch, roll and rpms at surf speed? I laughed at your comment on checking pitch and roll on your Max and just knowing what the boat likes, it's on one of the main screens on my 23.

It truly was effortless to recover!! I was riding in stock Future fins too on the Neo and Falcon. Usually to feel that kind of drive, I’d be riding something like my Neo with Chaos fins. Wave was legit! Y’all with the newer screens are lucky! Sucks having to toggle on the smaller screen lol.
I just these videos on the Facebook group but I also added some thoughts on the SV. I’ll paste them below. Caution, it’s a wall of text lol.
- As you may have read in my other SV posts, I came away really impressed with this new model. I think it’s light years better than the SC which was thei smallest model Supra offered. It is a baby SL, but it doesn’t feel small inside and for those that don’t have huge crews I think this boat will be plenty. Feels slightly smaller than an SA inside and mainly seems to be in the bow and cockpit area. From the sun pad back it seemed the same size as others Supra’s. Surf locker is large enough to hold 3 or so skim boards. Sadly I forgot to film inside the compartments but it had nice storage space.
- The new master battery switch inside the door a strange thing to look at compared to traditional switches you’re accustomed to. Probably has something to do with the tower being your On / Off battery switch. Think of the tower switch like a remote I guess.
- DSD audio is no joke amd sounded great! I’ve been in the previous JL boats and they rock, but the DSD rocks too but seemed to be very clear and the surround sound effect having speakers everywhere really does fill the cockpit unlike anything else I’ve heard for stock stereo systems on other boats. Personally, I dig the look of them, right down to the grills. Zero rattles. Just big sound all around and each zone is able to be controlled.
- The rudder indicator is a nice touch, especially for new vdrive owners, but even seasoned folks will appreciate always knowing where your rudder is. You know how it goes when launching after retrieving sometimes
- The Smartseat feature is badass! I sadly didn’t get any video of it in action but trust me it’s awesome having your seat automatically adjust based on the bow (and maybe speed is a factor to?)! The new dash, screens, and interface are all slick and felt super premium.
- Ride quality was great. It was a flat day but it handled the slight occasional wind chop and going against the current fine. I’d like to test this boat out again on my home base Lake Martin, which can get snotty like an ocean. That would be a much better test to how the boat can handle rougher waters. I was a little worried of dipping the bow on the rollers when turning back to pick up the surfer but never had an issue. I think my Max has more freeboard, or at least feels that way, and it’s never an issue with getting water in the bow.
- Exterior styling, um .....it’s sexy AF! It has a great stance on the water! We didn’t use the new swim step but ve played with it at the dealership. We would option our boat with one for sure. New tower is badass and looks more modern. I love the design of the tower boxes compared to cans. Bimini had plenty of shade as well. Putting the bimini boot on looked a little tricky see you have to feed it around the tower speaker boxes though. I like the phenderpro’s are standard and in the right places. Not sure if the GoPro surf mounts down by the swim step are new or not, but i would like to try those out next time.
- Boat has the 400 and we are at sea level. It seemed well matched for the boat. Not sure what prop was on it but it had good holes hot when empty and good midrange. If at altitude or with a medium to Max sized crew you may want to opt for the 450 or 550 just because this boat is heavy. It did not feel sluggish at all and coming from my Max, it felt much more sporty. We had 400 lbs of lead and it didn’t have issues getting to surf speeds fully ballast, however we were a light crew. Again, the prop seemed well matched, whatever version it was.
- Boat did not have the new HO thrusters, but I don’t think thrusters are a must have on this size boat as it seemed to pivot fine while docking or returning to pick up the surfer. Of course the new thrusters would have been fun to play with. If I’m building one, I’m going to spec the thrusters either way just due to how snotty our lake can get.
- The surf wave was very firm and had plenty of power front to back. It was not soft at all and my legs hurt for a few days, not kidding . some boats can feel soft but not this one and we didn’t even play with the settings other than fill, and had 400 lbs of lead distributed in the rear and surf lockers. The wave wasn’t as long or tall as my dialed in Max wave even though total displacement is around the same I think considering I had a lighter boat but I have much more total ballast.
- The shape of a Supra wave is definitely signature and different than a Moomba wave. Definitely has that Supra shape. I’ve ridden newer SA’s and SL’s and to me, the SV packs a firmer wave out of the box. Not trying to be biased or just hyped because it’s the newest thing either. I shoot it straight lol. Yea we did have some lead, but it was only 1 person in the boat driving, so to be fair 400 lbs is likely what everyone would have one way or the other. I think part of the reason why the wave may feel better is because the SV is shorter but also weighs more than an SA. The wave is maybe a hair shorter but feels much, much, more powerful. You will have to demo the boat and see for yourself! I’d love to borrow this boat for a day and dial in the wave as much as possible because if out of the box plus a little lead is any indicator, this boat will be able to make a really amazing wave! I need some more ride time behind one.
- I surfed with a 5’ Neo and a 4’6” Falcon and both boards had a ton of speed on this wave and effortless recovery. The wave just has a ton of power back there that recovery takes no time and minimal pumping, if at all. I was able to recover just by locking in the edge and off I went. The wave is really, really good in terms of power and firmness.
- We surfed at 11.4, 11.6 amd 11.8 mph. Surf tab was 75 and center tab was 25. With those plate settings, the wave cleaned up best round 11.4 to 11.6 mph. At higher speeds we would have needed to play with the tags to clean up the lip a little. Hoping to get another demo once the boat returns to Lake Martin so I can play with the setup in more detail.
- One thing I noticed is the surf wave seemed to take a little while to form compared to my Max, which develops very quickly. It wasn’t a big deal, just seemed strange. Maybe the tabs are doing something when we stop other than the center tab? Idk but it would finally produce a nice wave. You’ll see in the video. I don’t recall it taking as long on the SA or SL but it has been a while since I’ve been on them, so maybe this is just a Swell vs Flow thing.
Overall, really impressed with the boat and I think folks will like it! Go demo one and I think you’ll be impressed too. It packs a big punch for the smallest size boat Supra offers!
Thanks for the review Hak!
