Yep, Justin and Brandon installed the lift. I remember seeing your boat, looked like you got a great stereo set up, and ballast too.

Yeah I recognized it because Justin was telling me about how he had to cut the front fender. That truck is so sweet!!
And thanks for the compliments. Definitely love cranking up the Wetsounds.

Only pic I have towing so far; its a turbo diesel and I love it!
Where do you put the rusty parts and 4 wheelers? I can't find the bed on that pic!?

I put rusty parts in the trash, and have a trailer for the rest :)
Hey dusty, who did the tunes on your truck? how do you like them? dustin's looking into that right now.
http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/02/17/jasarady.jpgIdaho Rob. I've got the DSP5 tune setup. I did the ecm swap program he offers. IIRC its
1. optimized stock +10
2. tow +40-50
3. mileage +70
4. street +90
5. race +120
5" exhaust from turbo back, pcv re routed, egr blocked, resonator blocked.
I absolutely love the thing. Washed her today.

Grady - I like the leveling kit. Who did you go with?
I traded in my 2008 GMC Geared Up Edition for a 2013 Ford King Ranch two weeks ago. Been wanting one since I was a kid!

[QUOTE=tgoody14;208473]Grady - I like the leveling kit. Who did you go with?
That's a sweet King Ranch!! I bought it off one of the ebay stores for like $45. Me and a buddy installed it in a couple of hours.

All stock so far...but will pull anything I want.
Good looking truck man.
Heres a pic of the new setup as of 2013.

Updated... Put some new shoes on the beast. 35" toyos on 20" novakanes stock. Still needs to be cleaned from hunting tho.

what were you hunting with an excavator?
Our "truck" is my wife's "truck". (we get crap from some people who say it's not a real truck, but it's got a tailgate and a bed, so who cares if it's IFS/IRS with a trunk under the bed???)
2009 Honda Ridgeline RTL. Bought it with under 10k miles and it now has only 21k. It's Stock and rollin' on the stock 18's... (the wife doesn't mod things like I do).
The first trip out on the Supra:

I honestly have no desire to have a typical "truck". I'm prefectly happy driving my M3 cabrio or sportbike when it's sunny out, and driving my Audi wagon when it's raining. Plus, so many of these trucks lifted with giant tires that never see anything but pavement. I roll on 35's but it's so I can go places none of these pretty trucks would ever go.
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-Q...0906160932.jpg
(one of these days I might try pulling the Supra with the Jeep since it's got upgraded axles, brakes, etc; but the reciever is tweaked so it points a little down and the drawbar was at an angle to the coupler and it didn't want to hitch up the day I was gonna try it. it didn't help that the boat is parked on my sloped RV spot. In the end, I just take the wife's Ridgeline and have her drive the Audi for our 10 mile drive to the ramp...)
Bottom line is that I hate having redundant vehicles. The ridgeline is awesome to get the wife to work if it snows (AWD) and still gets decent gas mileage and gives her a comfy ride like an SUV. It still has a 5000 pound tow rating and gets the Supra to/from the launch just fine. It's never so much as spun a tire when pulling out the boat on the wet or even sandy pavement. It does have a bed that we've used to haul sheets of plywood, cinder blocks, a mess of old wheels/tires, and more. Plus, she has the trunk under the bed to put the groceries into when it's raining.
The Audi gets us up to the mountain during ski/snowboard season quite comfortably, and has plenty of hauling room in it's own right. And the M3 vert, the Sportbike, and the Jeep are just plain fun.
There is a part of me though that wishes I would have kept my 2004 Explorer XLT V8 (single color factory paint, dropped on 20's, billet grills, dual exhaust, etc). It would have been a fun tow rig.

Not the biggest but has one expensive acronym;
Just Empty Every Pocket, pulling Bust Out Another Thousand

Also, sold of the Tundra a while back which is posted earlier in this thread
They have pulling power but they don't have towing capability. 1,000 pounds. 2,000 with the four door. Great for moving the boat around the driveway though..lol. Thats why I have a pickup. I love to go to Moab and you hafta have one there. It does carry a 250 pound dirt bike..lol.
^^ that's great. Tow the jeep so you have a way to get the dirtbike there :)
I use my RZR-4 to move the outback around my place and in/out of the shop. Wouldn't stand a chance at a launch tho! I'd be in one of those "boat launch incidents videos" if i tried that. Its visited the dunes, trails, and street legal! It's been a good addition to say the least.

I stand corrected. Thanks Trayson. I knew I didn't have much to work with and it was an after thought to use the Jeep to tow only to find the dismal towing capacity..
Here she is stock almost a year ago.

Nice EcoBoost yourself!!! Those 35's look stuffed!
I have a buddy with an Ecoboost as well - be curious to hear what you see in mileage change with the new shoes. He's about due too so is looking at options.
Thanks Berg!!! 😎
I was getting 15.5 on average beforehand. I have an 8 mile drive from the lake to town at 70mph then city lights, stopping and going traffic while in town. With the lift and tires I now get between 13.5-14 on average. Not a big difference, but it's all in how you drive. I love that on dash, instant mph gauge it helps tremendously on being able to see instant results when on and off the gas pedal!!!
On 12hr drives cross country at 80mph I was getting 18. I'm sure this will be drastically reduced now that I'm 6" taller than stock. I'll making that drive again in January and will let you know.
Cool - I'll pass it on, show him some pics. I think he may not want to do a level kit due to warranty but we'll see.
I guess I never updated my own since this started so here goes.
New truck, old interior (pre-born-again).

I love that bumper! I haven't justified the cost to myself yet.
Couple more recent pics. Air bag talk on the other thread made me think of em. Need new pics with mud tires.

Kyle, your truck looks like its riding level in those shots
Those are pics with the air bags. Only thing I've change since that is new mud tires. I'd love that bumper a couple pics above :)
Thanks. You have a bada$$ looking truck. I ordered it around Christmas and they were running a deal on xtremedieselperformance.com for $750 instead of $1,000 so I said screw it. Eventually I am going to do a 32" LED 3,200 lumen light bar instead of the 4 9" lights.
What bags do you have? I did the firestone air helper springs on mine with an onboard compressor.
