Not sure if the Mondo is the same as the Mojo but on my buddies 2015 Mojo we just run the rope under the bimini through the hole in the center for the tower pylon...
That May work for surfing, probably not for wakeboarding
I have around 115 hours on my Mondo and run with the bimini up 99.9% of the time. I run it tight on the straps and haven't really experienced any rubbing problems. However, I have never used the tower for surfing since I knew it would rub which was a bummer. At Southern Surfest this weekend one of the guys suggested I do what David stated above by running the surf rope under the bimini. I normally surf off the pylon and haven't had trouble getting up. But we were out earlier this year and my daughter, who can wakeboard, decided to try to surf. She was having a hard time getting up. So doing the trick under the bimini I hope it helps in trying to get her up on the surf board the next time we're out.
Well summer is for experimenting. I'll try under For surfing. And wakeboarding, if you say it Works I will try it too.
I posted a thread about this...first trip out I got this.http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05...0dbd820765.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05...2a385dd94a.jpg still haven't heard back from Moomba on a solution.

Putting the rope through underneath the bimini absolutely does not work for wakeboarding or knee boarding. In the meantime I dropped off my Bimini at the dealer for them to look at it, Per corporate recommendation.
Moomba replaced my bimini fabric and I think shortened the rear arms so it is lower now. But there is still potential rubbing whether you go over or under for surfing. I may try attaching lower on the tower
