I need in on this thread ;)
Well.. 3 more attempts on Saturday and definitely closer than ever. All three ended with me watching the boat pull away as I sank straight down into the water. At least my balance is improving. Now got to keep the wave from passing me by. Biggest problem with the rotation up to now was trying to spin to fast. Slowing the spin down made it way easier to control. No pics or video as my phone always seems the be the one playing the music.
Is 31 old enough. I have arthritis in my right ankle, I think that adds a few years.
I am fast approaching the big 5-0 and just learning. Hoping i can achieve this stunt by next season. To date i have let go the rope once for a 1 minute ride, other than that its all rope..
Sunday conditions were great - just wasn't my day. I think I was too busy staring at the camera on the front of the board hoping it wouldn't fall off rather than paying attention to what I was doing.
Board mounts seemed like a good idea but I think the best videos will still be from the boat.

I'll b 38 in about 6 weeks and i've really been trying them lots this summer.... i'm riding a phase 5 razz which says its good to 220 lbs and i'm 195-200 depending. I can get around but am losing the wave or i'm trying to get back on the gas to quickly and nose under.. i got a week of holidays starting next week and plan on being out lots!
