Out at Spring Mountain the instructors at the Cadillac V Performance school get the AST-V around the 1.2 mile track faster than the current gen CTS-V. With 10 turns they can't put the power to use. Im'm glad I leased mine thru a supported GM lease as the values have tanked. I think the value is due to pour marketing by Cadillac, many don't know of the car and think its a CTS-V even at Cars and Coffee.
Buyer beware on some of the 16 without roofs and PDR. They might have a branded title from being a track car at Spring Mountain.

All loaded up and ready to head to the transmission shop. I’ve been going back and forth on pulling it and dropping it off. But let’s be honest... I don’t have time. Fml

The onus is on Toyota to prove it's not a coupe version of the Z4. There is a lot of shared development with BMW, good and bad. The platform should be agile enough but likely Munich neurted steering feel.
The Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ held a lot of promise but never enough performance to make it a real contender.
I'd hold out until they at least offer a TRD version or if they get something from Gazoo Racing.

Yep, Toyota has a chance to build a great car again. And they phoned it in to Germany... such a disappointment
toyota will never be able to repeat the iconic status of the mk4 supra. like the chevy 350, the 2jz in the tuner community is one of the best motors ever built. liken it to the sr20/rb26, any honda b series and 4g63. best smaller motors ever built.
I drove a frs when shopping a few years ago. it was hands down the best handling car I have ever driven. much better than my old evo9. like a go cart. but coming out of corners it really needed an extra 120hp. the lotgirl trying to sell it to me kept saying how great the acceleration was. sooo much room over the boxer for a turbo and they didn't. another toyota fail.
rc, I bet money that we will see a trd but only suspension/body bits just like the frs/86. almost seems like with a co-development there's an agreement in place that neither can up the HP more than a few as it'll make the other's car not as attractive. if we do see a performance variant, bet it's the same specs and timing of an M series from bimmer.
