I absolutely treat my boat as a lease. At my age/family situation this was a 5-7 year adventure, never intended to own this boat for 20 years.

From what Drew said and posted, all the options are on all boats. I did not read SV was an exception.
SV is listed as 3800 ballast.
SA is listed ad 3500 ballast.
SV is listed as 7600 weight with trailer.
SA is listed ad 7700 weight with trailer.
From the previous post:
New features on the 2024s
New Model SV (21'10")
New Audio (18 speakers and 5 amps standard with 3 industry first designs)
New Tower (Clamping racks, surf tow points, battery switch and bimini standard)
New Dash
New Windshield
New Electric Steering option
New Dropstep Platform Option
Dynamic Driver's Seat - Moves up and down with the pitch of the boat for visibility
4 New Gelcoats
Integrated Driver's Seat switches (moved the buttons on the side, instead of on screen)
Larger Rudder
New High Output Thrusters
Rudder Indicator on Dash
and I'm probably forgetting some stuff too... it's alot and really the only things you add are Tower Speakers, cover and whatever lights you might want and you're done. Obviously, you can load it, but the base price is loaded too for what is included
How about that SV with the 575 option? That's cool if you want it.
I think the SV will sell well, I got to imagine the SA is next for a redesign next year if we are following the 4-5 year design cycle.
Thrusters
Electric steering
Extra audio
Power step
Engines
Lighting
Trailer electric brakes
Trailer 18" upgrade
Top gatorstep option
All are not cheap options.
Are the flip up transom seats standard now?

Flip up seats are still an option for 24. I didn’t do do electric steering or the powered swim step. Those were each close to 3k a piece
Point is, a lot of new features are new/standard, but it's not hard to add $30k+ in options

Options add up quick. Hard to believe costs
Our last few boats
2008 Supra 21v. 49k
2020 sl450 msrp 168
2022 sl550 msrp 231
2024 se550 msrp 294
Our dealer has sale prices on 2023 moomba makai for 156, quite a bit more than we paid for our 20 sl.
The swim step looks awesome, but we added a retractable ladder that works great. Not quite as cool, but functional and way less expensive.
It's ridiculous, somethings gotta give and when it does, enjoy the ride.
I agree with all that boats have gotten out of control, both top line and value...
Saw a comment on a 150k makai. seriously¿
OI is now over 5k and 40% show 2023 models with zero hours....
I don't think mc will be the only builder laying off and/or slowing production in the next year.
I don't think boats are the only market due for some changes.. saw this last friday while selling the camaro..https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...a7a9839201.jpg
Somebody on FB was asking Drew about comparing the audio of the new SV to the Paragon JL subs built into the hull. Drew's response is an all timer: "Try it out. It’s designed to be more of a surround sound theatre experience in the cockpit. You could also buy two Supras and put them beside eachother and I think it’ll be louder than the one Paragon for the same $ "
Lol!
They can take that 50K market adjustment charge and shovit straight up their a$$. That is exactly what I would tell them.

I’m not a Malibu guy at all, but all of those 22-23 23LSV’s I see in the 120-130k range are tempting.
I see a “softening” in all things, but believe - the luxury goods market is still very strong.
I’m also into watches and have a fair collection. Again, a “softening” of prices, but $30-60k watches are still selling, very strongly. I’m sure the paragons will be as well.
I was at hot August nights in reno trying to bid on a few investment grade mopars at the auction a few days ago. I will tell you there is a disparity in what sellers believe their vehicles are worth, and what bidders are willing to pay. Many no sales.
I don’t think we will see a huge correction in most anything like people are hoping for, but a softening, sure.
I think If anything we are just going to see credit tightness forcing sales lower. Americans don’t give a sh!t what it costs as long as they can get financing for it lol.

I made some calls before securing our 24 SE build. I found 2- loaded out 2023 nautique g23s at a dealer in Utah. They sent me their build sheets. Both msrp were between 330-336k. They were willing to deal on either one out the door at 250-256k. Seemed like great deals. I was tempted but we weren’t a huge fan of the color schemes and I believe the Supra wave is as good or better
Half the caddys I looked at had at least a 10k market adjustment on them and the chevy dealer across the street has had them since 2021 on vettes and Silverados.
Ford has them on gt350/500s and last time the hyundai was getting the oil changed, all the N-series had 5 or 10k.
Here in sin city, it's "normal" to see market adjustments on even entry cars since 2021.
I was going to ask Drew if that was a verbal contract? I bet it wouldn’t be hard to price 2 Supras under 1 paragon, but doubt you could get 2 fully optioned SL or SE for less than one paragon. I get that it was a basically a joke, and mostly true. I’m just being overly critical haha.
Also, the prices are out of hand. I’ll be riding my’23 for years to come unless there is some market change
While picking up my Max from the dealer Saturday I took short video clips of a 2924 SL450 in the new slate blue color. Love all the new updates they did for 2024!

I like Supra’s answer for the integrated step on the swim platform. A Malibu M220 pulled the Provincial Championship this weekend that my son competed in. It had the integrated flip down step and the wakeboard ropes were catching on it all the time.
What's the sub setup on the 24s?
They also have a built in wash down to clean up the floor etc.
I have a heated wash down in my Mastercraft and it works great. It actually extends our short season, filling our wetsuit with the warm water, by a couple of weeks. It also is nice when having to put on a cold wet vest! My MC is a raw water cooling system so it works great. I looked into adding one for the Moomba but didn’t do it as I was told that the closed cooling system that it employs doesn’t heat the water much.
It pumps it directly from the lake into a coiled hose with a nozzle on it
Detachable hose comes with it and it connects inside the cockpit. I imagine the setup is similar to a ballast pump, where the is a thru hull fitting in the bottom of the boat and a pump that draws the water in. I should have looked under the boat while I was there lol. I’m sure Drew or one of the other factory guys can chime in with specifics.
