It's pretty sweet...90 degree day and if the boat is moving around at all you don't need towels. If it sits on a dock though in direct sun for 30 min+, it's cooking.

Some fun and wipeouts today. Hope all you dads had a great day with your fam.

Some tubing pics from pulling my daughter and her friends with my old boat. They were all cheerleaders at the time and would taunt me about not being able to throw them off. I never really used a lot of speed, but figured out how to play the bounce on the wakes just right so that I could launch them. A really tight tube helps a lot too. I especially like the double inverted opposite bounce!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...da48b93fc1.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...931dd4deb7.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6db8040e1c.jpg

Those tubing flying pics are great! Many headaches were had when we were young and on tubes. I don’t miss being a rag doll but the pics and vid’s are always great :)
YouTube was giving me fits earlier so had to reupload. I can’t edit my post so I apologize. I changed some views up and one of those spin attempts I must have snorted more water than Johnny Deep has coke! :D

Hak that video is cool! How fast are you going? It looks like about 20! LOL!

I know it seems like it might be dangerous. And I guess it is, but those girls are like spider monkeys on those tubes! If I am not launching them 4 ft, they are ragging me about how easy of a ride I am giving them. I have tons of pics and videos of them. One day I will put together a good video collection of the highlights. Like Hak does.

Great pics and videos. Somehow our wow matrix blew at a seam and of course we bought it 14 months ago and warranty is only 1 year. :( no more tubing for a while.
I know u mentioned going at a slower speed. That
Makes all the difference on the landing for sure. The kids sure bounce back better than I do from that. It might be the age but also the mileage. Agree that video from hak is awesome.

It’s the 56” Matrix. Yea I’ve seen some horror posts of folks with cuts on their forehead and body so I try to keep that in mind. On one of those wipeouts you’ll see it also hits me in the head so I just try and cover myself in the water and hope for the best lol.
The only thing I would say about my experience learning 360's is that you need to get right up to the back of the boat to have enough time to do the spin and recover.
So of course no video of this but I have been trying to learn 360s. I have also been trying to teach a 7 year old to surf. Had him on the board a couple weeks ago and went for a spin and got not one but two complete rotations! Of course I lost the wave and we sank but the feeling of throwing a 720 with a kid between my legs was awesome! Now to just get my 360s where I stay in the wave!
Last time out I was getting tired, so I usually end my run with a 360 attempt. I run up close to the boat and initiate my turn, and the cousin driving the boat chops the throttle due to unyielding traffic and what he thought was a water cop.
I got thrown mid spin into a back-flop on the crest of the passing wave almost hitting my head on the swim step. I separated a rib, and am just am now recovering.
My wife was so pissed at her cousin because he had plenty of room and didn’t need to shut down.

Right after we got our boat I was out for the first time trying to surf behind it. Was my wifes first time driving our new to us boat and I tried to be cute and jump onto swim platform from my board when I told her to shut it down. Our platform has whatever moomba used to use prior to gator step which is super slick when its wet. I didnt realize that and crumpled into a ball when i hit it with my feet. Hurt like hell and she thought she had killed me. Definitely a lesson learned.

First sunset cruise in the lake limo

Nice! We do that quite often too. Lake is super smooth and quiet that time of the evening. It's my wife's favorite time to go out. Pretty relaxing.

@dyrmz134 That is a beauty of a boat. Awesome sunset picture. You could frame that one.
The gas station outside our campground shut down so no place to get fuel now. Upgraded my hose to reach the boat. Problem solved! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...7e2364ed50.jpg

The wife’s been a trooper recovering from the accident! I assumed boating was out of the question til at least August but we made it happen. Came up to the lake for a couple days for our anniversary with no kids (we were supposed to be in Jamaica right now for the week).

Nothing like float therapy to help one heal.

I don’t think he has the midnight flake on the rear so you’re safe Larry :D
Loved the boat! My dealer is wanting me to put in a build slot for an SL but I think we’re going to hold off. I want out of my garden home more than anything.
Z28ke, glad the wifey is doing good and getting to relax on the water!!! Best way to heal :)
Finally got a drone! Been wanting one for a while.
It was the perfect day to test it at the lake today! I clearly need more practice driving it or using it’s automated features, but for this having been my 3rd time flying a drone, I’m very happy!

You are right about that, but be careful if you fly under trees, open shelter, or anything where you may lose signal. Especially if it's close to your range limit. The return to home feature kicks in after your predetermined signal loss, and the first thing it will do is fly straight up to whatever height you have programed in. Which will crash it into the roof of say an open carport or barn, whatever. Had a friend who damaged two of his that way. Low battery, critical low, will do some unexpected things too all of a sudden. You get plenty of warning, but after a while you sort of know you still have some time to not be in a hurry when the warning goes off and can become complacent. That's when it gets you! But yeah the controls are easy!

My son competed in his first wakeboard competition yesterday. He's never ridden behind a g23 and unfortunately fell twice. He had a great time and was super excited when they called his name for 3rd place.
