Orlando sounded like a good time. Too bad we do not have more of events like this to get kids pumped-up about wakeboarding.

First day out this season… looking forward to utilizing the wakemakers gravity III upgrade we did a few weeks ago!
Great light getting her out of the hangar early this morning!

We took delivery of our ‘22 Mojo in mid-February. Looking forward to dialing in the surf wave and learning from everyone on the forums. Lakeway + Lake Travis, TX.
Good looking boat. You are going to love it!

Thanks and yeah, it would be great to see you out on the lake sometime. Congrats on the Supra, it’s a great looking boat!
We have a dry slip at Hurst Harbor and are on all of the marina’s lists for a slip. This one ended up coming available right before we received the boat and it’s really convenient to our house (within 10 min). How about you? Any suggestions for good surf spots? It’s been pretty choppy just about every time we’ve gone out but I’m also sure the wind isn’t helping.
We have a storage unit near Briarcliff Marina. We had intent to use the launches at Pace Bend Park, but all are closed except Tournament Point.
We’ve only had the boat out once and launched from Cody Park in Lago Vista where family members live. We had decent water until the afternoon, spent most of our time near Collier and Paradise coves.
My wife and I have the luxury of being able to go out midweek mornings and avoid the crowds, but family and friends are consummate weekend warriors and wifeys weekends are mostly spent at work.
How much are the dry slips running? I never even looked into it because it seemed like such a PITA to schedule, but now with ramps closing we may not even be able to launch.
Making my new SA build come true!!!
Nice, we used to launch my in-law’s boat out of Briarcliff so we’re familiar with that area. We’re hoping we get some rain soon so more ramps open up. At the current rate, I don’t know how much longer Hurst Harbor’s slips will be accessible since it’s so deep in the cove. We’re paying a hair over $300/mo for the dry slip and wet slips are $350-425 depending on the size. They’re currently replacing the smaller slips with larger ones so the prices will all be higher in the next year or so. Unless you can store your trailer elsewhere, they charge another $75/mo for that. I thought the dry slip would be a PITA too but it hasn’t been too bad. Just call an hour ahead and they have it sitting at a dock for you when you arrive. The biggest complaint I have is about not having a chance to wipe down the exterior once we’re done for the day unless you wait around for them to pull it out. That and having to trailer it out unless you want to buy gas on the water. We filled up at Crosswater and it was semi-painful!
We’ve gone out on weekdays and weekends, and I’d agree during the week is better. I’ll check out Collier and Paradise Cove next weekend. Thanks for the recommendation and I hope to see you out there!
Got some water spots off that I couldn’t last fall, waxed it with Collinite 925 and did a quick meguires spray wax on top. Finally clean again, need the water level to drop so I can drop the lift in!

Haven’t posted in a long time on here. A couple pics of the old girl as we headed out this
weekend. Keel laid almost 18 years ago now. Boat stored outside and run almost exclusively in brackish water. Skiers Choice makes a great product. For anyone on the fence about these boats they last…https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...0c3b27b74f.jpg

Wow! That is sharp looking for the age and storage conditions for sure. I like that aluminum trailer. A steel one certainly wouldn't look that good by now.

Thanks. Yes the original boat mate trailer was awesome but didn’t hold up to the salt as expected. The only casualty of our boat environment. I run salt away after every trip and wash down the trailer with it. That stuff really helps.

U have a beautiful makai btw!

HFarr's setup is something for sure. I will admit to some envy there. Truthfully, for me the house could have fallen over as long as the dock and toys are safe.....LOL.

We have maximum square footage limits on our docks so we couldn't go that big or we would have. Very nice.
In a previous post I showed that we took our son to a competition a couple weekends ago. Now he wants to compete in the next one at the end of June. We started working on a run yesterday and he's loving it. Crazy how fast the little guys progress.
