I believe it is part of the stern thruster.
I had heard they have an exhaust diverter because at idle the exhaust interferes with the stern thruster.
Flux capacitor.

Congrats, that is one beautiful boat! Love the white with tan interior. That was my first choice but my wife so no on the tan interior :( Enjoy it.
Went to boise over the last few days. Its such an amazing city and always in the top 5 best cities to live in every year.
They put in a whitewater area a few years ago. Surfing anf kayaking with a nice entry and several bars and restaurants there. Sits on the 30 mile long greenbelt that iffers bikers and walkers a trail thru town. Lots if eye candy on the weekends :)
Right across from the whitewater is a huge paddleboard lake https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...f5cc780b97.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...0053c42ba9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...5322124bec.jpg
Went due to the old man starting to clean out their house. Came back with our rented minivan stuffed to the gills.

Dropped the boat off at the dealer this weekend and checked out a new one they had on the floor. The mechanical side of the stern thrusters seems like a pretty simple, effective design.

Now that side thruster makes total sense. Seems like that would be a aftermarket bolt on item common soon.
You didn't happen to get the brand on the thruster did you?
I'm a also curious if they run one at a time depending on which way you're going or if they both run at the same time in both directions.
Good observation on the screen, hopefully some control logic like the boat needs to be in gear or similar??
I ordered them on my SA, to make myself a better V drive driver and getting my son and wife more confident in driving the boat.

prestige is a great group and bought my first tige from tyrell when he was working to make a go at it back in '12. he has certainly grown from a tige/sanger/regal dealer to what he is today.....
make sure and get over to the service side and meet paden(aka freeheel4life). he's a fantastic mechanic and sure he will help me if I have any warranty issues even being 8hrs away....
