Finally got the little guy to surf with me. He screamed his head off last year, but was totally in to it last weekend.

Nice! I'm trying to get my 3yo to come out with me but he's not having it this year. My 7yo on the other hand won't let me out without her. Starting to carve a little with her on with me. Figured if I was going to get to play I was going to have to learn it with two. Wouldn't change a thing tho. It's been the best summer yet!Quote:

Yeah, he is 4 now. Was scared to death last year. My 8 yr old just learned to ski. Now he wants to get his own surf board and try that on his own. So, my water time is going to get cut drastically soon! [emoji23]Quote:

Nice! My dealer had an SL450 on the floor with almost my same color scheme. Of course I was drooling over it when the salesman walked up and asked if I was interested. I said only if it comes with a free divorce lawyer! Maybe in a few years I can convince the wife.

My nephew had a birthday party in New Braunfels Saturday so we figured heck, if we are only going to be 30 minutes from canyon lake we might as well bring the boat! So we did. My dad came along too and snapped some cool pictures with his Phantom 4 Pro. Nice to be able to enjoy some clear water in TX.

Details on what you are running.
I added 500# lead to my SA last week and with Autowake......holy hell can you dial in the wave.
I am 100% in tune with how Autowake helps you, I was getting a barrel rolling over the top of my wave.
I didn’t lose a drop of ballast and moved 50# extra to surf side, and 150# to the bow.
Just a sweet system once the light switch turns on.

Hit the Autowake numbers perfect statically and then dynamically and with the added displacement, the wave was firm, tall and had a barrel at the lip.
I liked Autowake before, but now I love it.
The bonus is my son wanted to learn to transfer and ride on the regular side. When I transferred from goofy to regular, we were not too far off on regular and he still had a great regular wave to ride.

I will say this, the SA, SL and SE need some extra ballast to truly shine. I know that’s not a original thought, but get some friends or buy some lead, it’s worth it.
The SA needs at least 500#.
I am going to guess the SL will need 750-1000# and SE needs 1000+

Entertained a group of bachelors Friday. 4 of the 7 had never surfed. Got 3 up.
Great time ended with a $305 fine and lecture about co2 poisoning for riding on the engine cover.
