What color is it?!? Lol linz is on board for a new SE...
I believe it to be this one.
https://www.rinkersboatworld.com/def...=xNewInventory
and it is already up there.
Public service announcement. 45 north is a disaster area coming from Houston. Hwy 19 exit is closed, you will have to take the detour exit so watch for the signs.

Not a ‘19... sucks
I know they’re bringing the purple and black SL. Sweet looking ride, just not enough purple!
Oops. Forgot about that part. It’s a smokin hot boat tho.
Oh that’s a given... that dark grey flake with the blue is sexy!
No special guest appearance by Drew from SC dragging down a new mystery boat?

Yep, y’all be careful. It’s got concrete walls on both sides of the lanes in some spots.
I think I’m just gonna drag up Hwy 75. 45 suuuuuucks right now...

And y’all be sure to swing by and pick up a cup of gummy savers! We’re soaking over 3# of them!
[QUOTE=larry_arizona;330254]Technically isn’t it the Indmar 575?
SE550, yes it's the Indmar 575
With the new SE roll out, maybe SC should have updated the model nomenclature to SE575

That new 2019 SE will be awesome to see in person. Noticed someone getting it delivered and unwrapped on Fbook. Big azz motor and all.
Hope they get those break-in hours complete so you guys can post some wake and surf pics of the beast in action.

Surfing with stock ballast was pretty awesome. It’s not real tall but it is super long. I can’t imagine how awesome it would be if there was more weight added. Let’s see if this works. https://instagram.com/p/BmJeEeslBPu/ this is a clip the wife got will I was surfing behind the SE 550 at the jam.

I tested it on the Rinkers 2019 SL, had white, light graphite and dark graphite. Failed to take a interior shot.

Guys: it’s going to work. It works. Oh, and this just in: it works. Furthermore, it seems to be cooler than traditional light vinyl. And also, don’t forget, it’s been tested. And, it works!
One more thing: it works. Cooltouch is real. Actually real.

The flip up rear seat cushions look awesome during that surf session video!

I trolled around the SL for a bit and the SE while it was docked. I’m not a fan of one of the new interior material. One of the areas it looks like colored bubble wrap. It’s odd, hard to explain.
The dark graphite on the SL, when we got there had been in the sun for a while. It’s cools really fast when you put a hand or foot on it. But it’s still pretty warm, Definitely not as warm as regular stuff. So my judgement is still out on whether I’d get a darker interior or not.
I liked the SE, (not the one slalom shop brought out, I personally thought it was pretty ugly color wise lol) it’s cool cus it’s basically an SA with an extra 2’ in the middle. Linz wasn’t thrilled with it, I think we’re gonna wait on the 2020 (hopefully) redesign on the SA. All the comfort additions are awesome though, the flip up sun pad seats, the transom walk through... they did it right! Slow clap for SC...
I’ll get our pics up as soon as I get off this trip!
Yes it works, but hot is still hot. The dark graphite on the SL was pretty warm. But it’s all relative. Maybe I’m just a sensitive sally. Lol
I will say, compared to the black swim deck cover they left on the boat, the graphite was an ice cube! That was pretty impressive. But would I buy a boat with a dark interior now...? Probly not is where I’m leaning.
I’m just jabbing at all the people who say it doesn’t work. It’s tested so that black is not as hot as regular white in the sun. I don’t see how that is debatable?
No one is saying you would order a dark interior, but maybe you don’t like dark colors? But your dark interior according to the testing would be less hot in the same sun then a white interior of old vinyl.
Pretty straight forward.

Another key tenant is, like you mentioned, it cools immediately upon touch. So it doesn’t matter how hot it is—it’s not going to burn your skin until you manage to jump up and scream—because of its rapid cooling.

But whatever, it’s on the new Supras so that’s a good thing in my eyes!

Yea the rapid cooling was pretty slick. If I end up with a new boat I’m gonna wait until someone gets that sweet looking black and blue set up interior and beg them to let me spend a day on it with them so I can try it with worst case scenario colors! Lol that’ll be the true test...
wish I could have surfed that SE with Cactus, but we were having such a good time on the SA I lost track of it until it was time to drain the bags. Lindsay was ropeless most of the day and had some cool looking bottom turns as she was learning to use the wave to control her speed. I swear she must have surfed for 4-5 miles on one of her runs. I just need to snag all her pics.
But...it will be cooler on the same day than the best case scenario colors of your current boat....so.....not sure what is being tested about cool touch.
SUMMARY: 2019 BLACK tested cooler than 2018 WHITE.
Unless folks simply don’t believe the testing—I am not sure where the skepticism comes from?

It comes from research. For dark colored vinyl to be cool in the sun, there must be some type of clear membrane that reflects most wavelengths that is normally being absorbed. I would say with microfibers and all that they have that design down. I wish they had it in leather as my car seats are hotter than the dickens until the AC flows through them.

Great aerials. A lot of money sitting in those pictures. At least $1.3M.
